Thanks to EA’s Sponsors & Partners for Q1 2011!

2011 is bringing many changes to Effortless Anthropologie. For reasons I can’t explain, Anthropologie has either paused or stopped its affiliate program. None of their product links have updated since January. While that’s probably good news to many in the community because I’m back to using direct links, it’s bad news for me because the contest fund pot is now dangerously close to empty. I hope that Anthropologie reboots its program again soon.

But I don’t want to wait. To replace the funds I’m losing out on, I’ve been working behind the scenes to take on some new sponsors and affiliates. I know that ads aren’t anyone’s favorite thing, but look at it this way: your support and clicks helps me raise money to run the fun contests during the year here. I love running the contests and hate missing out on gift card and prize giveaways.

Luckily as the community has grown it’s been easier to find sponsors and the opportunity pool is much larger. Thank you all for that! In addition to the Google Ads in the sidebar, EA has a network of sponsors that help me support blog expenses and run contests. Please join me in welcoming EA’s newest supporters and thanking our continuing partners. There are some special deals detailed below for EA members when shopping through the sidebar links.

Condé Nast, publisher of titles like Vogue, Bon Appétit, Glamour, Lucky, The New Yorker, Wired, Brides and more, has recently joined forces with EA to offer the community discounted subscriptions. I’m very excited to welcome Condé as an affiliate to give everyone an inside peek at upcoming stories from some of my favorite magazines. Right now EA readers can get 85% off the cover price. Woo!

Swirl by Daily Candy is the place to buy clothes and accessories at up to 80% off from designers and up-and-coming fashion world newbies. Right now they’re running a contest: for every friend you invite to join Swirl, you’ll get a $25 credit and be entered into a weekly drawing to win a $500 shopping spree. If you’re not a Swirl member you can sign up here and even if you are a member, each click to the day’s sale through EA’s banner help out the contest fund.

Haute Look became an EA affiliate last year. They’re one of my favorite sample sites because they too carry lines you know from Anthropologie like Eva Franco, Tracy Reese and Tibi at 50-75% off. Through tomorrow you can also get 10% off $100 using the code oohilove10off100 through this link.

Haute Look also does Facebook flash sales, which are 48-hour sales for Haute Look members who ‘like’ the company on Facebook. Ah, technology.

Free People has been very tempting to me this year. I’ve professed my love for their Motor Cuff Thermal (now $30, OOTD here) and now that I’m on their catalogue list there’s more to love. They’ve been running random free shipping promotions as well. I highly recommend checking out their March 2011 lookbook. This affiliate link gets you one step closer to the pretty.

Soap.com has been stalking me in the subways lately. For lazy urban dwellers like me who can’t be bothered to walk to the drug store, this site is the perfect solution. They sell all the basics like body wash, shampoo, cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc. and conveniently deliver them to my door. Another advantage for me is that living in New York City these products are 10-15% more expensive than the rest of the country…except maybe Hawaii. But on Soap.com I’m back to paying suburbia prices. The internet is truly the great equalizer.

7 For All Mankind makes my favorite white denim, the hobo I missed out on and still pine for (the Canberra Hobo in aqua) and jeans in any fit you can think of. EA community members shopping through the sidebar link get free shipping on orders over $150, which is pretty sweet.

Lord & Taylor is my secret Chie Mihara shop, because they offer amazing friends & family discounts a few times a year. I got my Esli T-Straps there and one other pair of Chies. Their store in NYC carries many of the same brands as Bloomingdales and Saks at lower prices, which has enabled me to stay stylish even when my budget was thin. Right now you can get free shipping on orders over $99, and 20% off sale merchandise with the code SALE through this link.

Supporting independent businesses is very important to me, so I’m happy to have the Modern Vintage Boutique as one of EA’s partners. This cute shop offers vintage designs translated into modern shapes and materials. From clothing to accessories to bags Modern Vintage Boutique has pretty options for those of us that love a vintage design.

If you love Etsy but find yourself overwhelmed by the selection, give Etsy Stalkers a shot. This blog highlights some of the best options the online boutique cooperative has to offer. I appreciate the highlight posts to help me weed through the deluge of items available on Etsy. Hmm, that Keep Calm and Blog On sign is calling to me…

DwellStudio.com | Fun and Playful Kid's Room Patterns & Home Decor

Dwell Studio is located in the same building as my NYC office. I am in love with their beautiful bedding and fun animal prints. Their baby items are full of joie de vivre and make incredible gifts for parents-to-be. In addition Dwell also carries beautiful kitchen, bedroom and living prints.

Shop NarsCosmetics.com Today!

NARS.com is one of EA’s newest affiliates. This is one of my favorite makeup brands — I simply adore their Matte Lipsticks. Always fun and never serious, the color palettes are always what I reach for. To welcome the EA community, NARS is offering Free Shipping on online orders over $50 through this link.

shop now on kensie.com

A couple of years back I said you might want to know about Kensie, and now here they are as an EA affiliate! This line has two divisions — Kensiegirl for the young adult and Kensie for lovers of a flirty, feminine style. Some of my most fun and flouncy dresses are Kensie and I think they interpret mod well at a midrange price point. To welcome EA community members, you can get 20% off your online order AND free shipping through this link.

…and of course, while Anthropologie doesn’t officially or monetarily support this blog their community team has been a great partner for the last 2+ years. From events to sneak peeks I’ve appreciated all the fun things Anthro has shared with the community. I look forward to continuing the relationship for years to come.

Whew! That was a bunch. Be on the lookout for more special promotions with EA’s amazing sponsorship panel. If you’d like to sponsor EA, shoot me an email so we can chat. Thanks to all of Effortless Anthropologie’s sponsors and partners. But most of all, thanks to the community here for sticking with this little blog.
