OOTD: Loving on the classics

2011-01-24_002

Welcome to my latest photo spot — in front of my heating/AC unit! Very exciting as I understand it. I know that there isn’t much love for critters on things, but when done correctly it can be fab. Today’s outfit centers around the Miroslav Skirt which was released in the summer of 2008. While I love many newer Anthro pieces I miss this kind of whimsical design from the brand. Big leaves? A hummingbird? Who can resist?

I wore my sweater closed at work to keep things a little more professional. After work some of us went out for drinks and the big reveal of the little bird. (Controversial, I know.) It’s funny how this skirt which hits an inch or so above my knee feels so short, yet skirts today are regularly a few inches shorter still. I miss knee-length skirts. I can’t wait to see them out on the shelves again.

One of the great things about this community is how helpful we are. One of the members here, Erin, helped me find this skirt. I am eternally grateful! And now for your enjoyment, here’s 4 more photos in slightly different stances!
