On Thursday evening, the Soho Anthropologie converted itself into an intimates lover’s delight. Only Hearts, an Upper West Side mainstay since 1978, brought a special collection of items for a small group to peruse. Included in the collection were some of the pieces in Anthro’s online Only Hearts selection as well as a few special in-store only items. One of my favorite pieces was the pretty lace and hearts chemise in the vignette above. It was a piece Only Hearts created specifically for Anthropologie.
For now, the Soho event is Only Hearts’ only trunk show at Anthropologie. But I do love these events and hope to see more like this in the future nationwide. Anthropologie’s intimates collection is growing and I have noticed more styles available in D cups which is wonderful. (Though not my own 34D which is a bummer.) I hope that they continue to grow their size offerings to reflect the many beautiful shapes women come in.
I did buy myself a little something at the event — the Dauphine Teddy I mentioned in the Shopbop contest post was available in nude at the trunk show and I couldn’t resist grabbing it! We got a special gift with purchase — a cute little thong with hearts on it. More photos below. Only Hearts is in select Anthropologies nationwide now, including all of the NYC Anthros. Prices for the collection range from about $30 to $100, well within the range of affordable luxury.
