The shoe room at Anthropologie’s King’s Road store in Chelsea, London will debut a bit earlier than expected! Originally slated to open in March, the shoe shop next to one of Anthro’s two London locations will instead open on the 25th of February.
Acoording to the Telegraph, over 80 styles will be housed within the boutique including Surface to Air, Robert Clergerie, Chie Mihara and Maloles. Prices will range from £98 – £388. The room itself is meant to evoke a midcentury sitting room with custom upholstered furniture, dark paneled walls and reclaimed shelving. Any Anthropologie fan will feel right at home.
I’m so excited for UK Anthro fans! I’m always nervous about buying shoes online — with shapes and designs as detailed as the likes Anthropologie carries I prefer to try them on in person whenever possible. Could a shoe area in the other London store be far behind? And will the Edinburgh store, opening in June, also end up with shoes? Time will tell.
