Even though the weather outside was frightful, I was compelled to dress delightful. One thing I love about the holiday season is that you can wear shiny and sparkly clothing and get away with it. In December out came my sparkly tweed skirts and shiny silver pumps for trips to work. They’re some of my favorite items to wear!
The Blushing Avian Blouse was a top I immediately loved and then kind of forgot about. Once it hit sale I was once again captivated by the pink shoulder pleats. It’s also got a fun velvet sash that I occasionally remove to wear with other shirts.
I have to admit that upon reviewing the photos this outfit is a little boring. I fell right into the winter NYC uniform of dark colors. I feel like I have a fun stewardess look going on, flying high in my Blushing Avian. Luckily the necklace adds some color. Hmm, how would you spice up this outfit?
