Email: anthro in our own words

Yesterday’s inbox was a little more festive thanks to the latest anthro: in our own words newsletter. The main box is devoted to the holiday in-store displays, many of which feature pine tree farms. In high school I used to work on a Christmas Tree farm every year as a fund raiser for our FFA program. I love the smell of the trees! The displays are a mix of trees real and made and select stores will feature ways to make your own tree. I haven’t seen any of these displays yet locally (it’s been a busy couple of  weeks in my household) but I have seen the beautiful snow horse at the Soho Anthro. Can’t wait to see the trees! There’s a small photo gallery on flickr to peruse.

We’ll talk outfits later today so I’m going to skip that portion for now. The bottom portion of the newsletter reminds us about free shipping on domestic orders over $150 (sorry international Anthro fans) and the left side touts the arrival of the Anthropologie Accessories store via Anthro’s Facebook page. By the way — I have heard from a little blue birdie that the second Accessories boutique will be in Rhode Island!!

The final section this month links to David Eustace’s latest project on The Anthropologist. If you haven’t visited the site yet I highly recommend it!
