I have noticed a lot of community members sharing in-store deals and spots in the comments of various posts. Inspired by the weekly Seek & Find posts started by the lovely Alexis over at J.Crew Aficionada, I think now is a good time to start a similar weekly post here.
This post is for community members to trade information. You can ask for help in finding an item, report back on what you saw in-store at your local Anthro, ask general questions, make a request, or just stop by to say hello. I love how helpful this community can be!
Some FAQs….
– What does “sub” mean?
It means that people are subscribing to the comment thread. You can do this by checking the “send follow-up comments to x email address” box in the comment form.
– Someone in the comments said they wanted to buy an item from me, but it’s been x hours and I haven’t heard squat. What should I do?
I give people 24 hours for the benefit of the doubt. After that move on to the next person that contacted you.
– Someone said they returned an item at the store 20 minutes ago but I just called the store and it’s gone. What gives?!?
A store associate might have taken a fancy to it or a customer might have grabbed it. Maybe it’s just at the bottom of a big ol’pile. Unfortunately, you’re out of luck.

I'm selling a NWOT Pearland Dress in XS. I bought it NWOT from ebay (reputable seller–not one of the possibly-selling-knock-offs-from-China ones) a couple of months ago and it's just too big. I paid $55 and am asking $35/shipped USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation. I wore the dress for about one hour tring in vain to style it in a way that would make it work for me, but again, it's just too big. Smoke-free home. not sure if it's still there, but yesterday there was a size 8 Kyoto Medallion Blouse at Seattle's University Village store for $70something. I think it was a return. The handwritten sale tag said it was a size 2, but when I went to try it on the SA and I noticed it was actually a size 8.Anyway, if you're looking for it, you might give them a call.

I just went through all the previous posts and emailed anyone whose items I spotted at the Philadelphia Anthro (on 18th and Walnut). They also had in their sale section quite a few Anchors Aweigh dresses, and those short sleeved cardigans that were striped and came in a lavendar/brown colorway, and a yellow/light blue (with some kind of flower on the front). Brittany B – The Embroidered blouse from Dec 09. I gather that the SAs at the Domain weren't able to find it for you? I won't be back there until Tuesday, but perhaps if any other Austinites are there before then and see it, maybe they can put it on hold for you. (It is a brand new store and almost all the SAs are new to Anthro). I would be surprised it if was gone already, unless someone else on this post called before you.

Purple and Orange,I called the Chestnut Hill store for the ZigZag dress, and when I described the item without even looking they said they had to send it back and can't sell it since it was an old item. Thanks so much anon @ 2:13!!!! Just snatched up a Fifth Form Shift in a size 4 – except the zipper is damage. They are giving me a discount so I can replace it, but it isn't much of one. HOWEVER! I purchased this belt in M last week( Style # 16735268, showed up as corset belt on the receipt) but I need a small in it. I dont know what its called, but its looks just like the Prairie Field Belt except that its all forest green. If anyone sees one in their store please let me know :-)Littlemissmasala at gmail.com
hs, try Garden City, NY for the Through-The-Clouds tank in Ivory. I can only verify that they had Ivory, not what sizes, but they did have XS in the other colors so there is a chance. I wish I had seen your posts before I went there so I could've checked for you. Good luck!
