I have noticed a lot of community members sharing in-store deals and spots in the comments of various posts. Inspired by the weekly Seek & Find posts started by the lovely Alexis over at J.Crew Aficionada, I think now is a good time to start a similar weekly post here.
This post is for community members to trade information. You can ask for help in finding an item, report back on what you saw in-store at your local Anthro, ask general questions, make a request, or just stop by to say hello. I love how helpful this community can be!
Some FAQs….
– What does “sub” mean?
It means that people are subscribing to the comment thread. You can do this by checking the “send follow-up comments to x email address” box in the comment form.
– Someone in the comments said they wanted to buy an item from me, but it’s been x hours and I haven’t heard squat. What should I do?
I give people 24 hours for the benefit of the doubt. After that move on to the next person that contacted you.
– Someone said they returned an item at the store 20 minutes ago but I just called the store and it’s gone. What gives?!?
A store associate might have taken a fancy to it or a customer might have grabbed it. Maybe it’s just at the bottom of a big ol’pile. Unfortunately, you’re out of luck.

This may be a long shot, but here goes -An anonymous poster commented here a couple of weeks ago that she mailed an Unexpected Treasures Cardigan to the La Jolla store. (Thanks, Anon!) I called the store to ask that they call me when they received the cardigan so I could buy it.Well, the lovely SAs called me last weekend to say that they have the sweater to sell me, but they haven't been able to process the return yet, b/c the sender didn't include her credit card info. Anon, if you're out there, the store has been trying to call you, but they said your phone isn't going to voicemail, so they can't leave a message. They asked me if I knew how to get in touch with you, and unfortunately Anon, I don't have your name or email address!So, if you see this, please contact the La Jolla store so they can process your refund. 🙂

Just wanted to share a bad CS experience I just had the Rockefeller store. I was exchanging a dress and the SA had my new dress in a ball threw it on the tissue paper and rolled up as tight as he could. Then he commented to the SA next to him that "this is how I do it, roll it up like a burrito". WTF. she said that wasn't very nice of him. I'd like my $200 dress folded please!! Geeze

Yvonne – I saw the speckled ink dress in the blue-striped motif at the Rockefeller store around lunch time. Hopefully it's still there, when I fist checked there was 3 L and when I left there was 1. I know, because I bought the only M on the floor!
lleila–Have you tried contacting customer service about the missing button? I have had buttons fall of my items, and when I contacted them, they were able to send me new ones.
IIeila they had a ton of the dolloped creams blouses at the montclair anthro this afternoon. not sure what sizes though..and there was a bengal skirt there too! must have been a return, it was a larger size…i'm just not sure what size. sorry guys.they also had a size 12 blue plaid reed dress.and the rockefellar anthro had a TON of amarena dresses in blue and red. no xs in red, but there were some in the blue

I was at Rockefeller last week checking for a community member and they only had an 8 and an 8.5 in the Side by Side flats.
I saw the side-by-side flats in the shoe display in the San Francisco store about a week ago. You might want to call them to check on sizes.
Cherry Creek Denver store had a bunch of Two-Wheeler dresses, several size 0, a 2, 6, and 10 as of Tuesday this week.

If you're like me, I like to try things on as soon as I get home. But who would want to put on such a wrinkly mess!If you were still in the store, I would suggest showing the "burrito" to the manager. But since you're not there anymore, I think you should call and speak to the manager. I'm sure you aren't the only one he's done that to. And he'll just continue. If you are really ticked off, you could take the mess back to the store, show the manager, and ask for a different dress. I am sorry he took a fun, exciting experience and ruined it. I hope you have a good weekend anyway.

To Baltimore Area Shoppers:The Towson Anthro had SHOES! Only in the sale section and very limited sizes, but there were quite a few shoes, size 61/2 to 8, and one 9. Very, very cute. & Reasonable too. Most were between 30 and 70 dollars.Happy hunting.Also – I scored some clearly older, recent returns. Two $9.95 dresses. There were definitely a few other older dresses.

The Corona, CA store has a lot of the coveted items in stock — about half a dozen Openwork Vines skirts in sizes 8 and under. Might have been a 10, too. I needed a 12. :(They also had half a dozen Reed Shirtdresses in blue plaid and about half a dozen in the green. I didn't get the sizes on those. I was happy to find a 12 — and this time it fit! The 12 in red plaid was way too tight in the arms and bust. Go figure.
Just had to get this out before I blow my top!An SA at the Philly store practically accused me of cheating the store. I tried to exchange the Globe Raisin top for another in the same size because mine came in the mail with crushed ruffles. She rang up a white top that looked the same (but I guess wasn't) and said I owed 58 dollars, and I said, "Oh no, I just want an even exchange. Can I get the gray?" We went back and forth for five minutes because she didn't understand or didn't WANT to understand. She was very rude the entire time, and then she said, "So what- you can just return it and get the full 78 dollars??" I was like Excuse me!! I just want a top that isn't crushed! I couldn't believe it.

i returned a landing fields skirt, size 6 to lenox (atlanta, ga) tonight. the wright dresses someone else mentioned were 8, 10 and 12. also, the SA said they're not looking up returns by anthro card anymore. you have to have your receipt or you get store credit. did i miss that change to the program?
isn't the whole point of having an anthro card is so you don't need a receipt to do a return? what's the point in having one otherwise???
I was at my local Anthropologie store 2 days ago and remember seeing the Globe Raisin Top at full price ($78). I purchased mine online when it went on sale for $19.95 over a week ago. I know the white top you are talking about Melanie – it's the Picnic On The Danube Racerback and it has a different style # than the Globe Raisin top. Both are full price at the B&M stores. Sorry about your experience Melanie! I don't understand myself why Anthro prices online and in stores are not aligned.
Stores are still accepting returns via the anthro card if you don't have your receipt. The comments about that the other day were more expressing frustration that some stores don't seem to know how to perform anthro card receiptless returns/exchanges.I've had a couple of similarly frustrating incidents at the store recently, but I don't want to turn this thread into a "let's knock customer service thread." While you're welcome to vent here (so long as you keep it polite, please) I encourage anyone who's had an issue to write customer service (service@anthropologie.com) so that their team can help you resolve any issue you had. Anon @ 1:26 on Friday, I would ABSOLUTELY write CS about the horrible treatment by that cashier. I honestly would have given him a piece of my mind on the spot. >:(Melanie, same deal. I'm so sorry to hear about the lack of compassion you received, and I think you should write CS to let them know.
I returned something yesterday and didn't have my reciept and for some reason it didn't show up on my Anthro card. I was also buying something else and SA asked me if I wanted credit to my account or merchandise credit. Maybe because they know me I wasn't given a hard time. My CS experiences have been good, but there are sometimes bad apples and retail is a tough business.Back to topic: Still looking for Tuberrose Tank in a S or M. Help!

I echo what Roxy said about writing CS. I received a jacket from a store via mail and it was stuffed (without wrapping) into a tiny tiny box. I couldn't understand how they put a nice thick jacket into such a tiny box. I wrote CS about it, and the district manager of the stores in that location wrote me back. Such personal service!

Ladies, The Preppy and Peppy Blouse is on ebay right now for a Buy it Now of $24.00 and shipping is really cheap. There are all sizes and in both the blueish colour and green colour. I know they are on sale at Anthropologie right now but I think the sale price is still $39.95. Just thought I'd let anyone know. I thought it was a good deal and bought one in the green 🙂

The Chelsea Market NYC store has a bunch of Wright dresses in a variety of sizes, and at least 5 Fifth Form Shift dresses. Sale room has lots of random pieces. Tons of Alena skirts in navy and pink – mostly 0, 2, 6, 8 from what I saw today.
yikes! i wasn't venting about my experience (it was fine) – just passing on what i was told by the SA who took my return. i don't mind store credit, but i'm glad they're still tracking purchases with the card. i don't see the point of it otherwise.
