I have noticed a lot of community members sharing in-store deals and spots in the comments of various posts. Inspired by the weekly Seek & Find posts started by the lovely Alexis over at J.Crew Aficionada, I think now is a good time to start a similar weekly post here.
This post is for community members to trade information. You can ask for help in finding an item, report back on what you saw in-store at your local Anthro, ask general questions, make a request, or just stop by to say hello. I love how helpful this community can be!

I'm on the hunt for a Scalloped Clouds skirt in a 10 if anyone has any leads!I was in the Palo Alto Anthropologie yesterday btw and was shocked to see there was a super marked-down Behind-The-Clouds dress there in charcoal in a Size 2. Super old news at this point since it was from last spring/summer, but thought I would mention it since it was one of my favorite dresses of 2009.

I don't know if they are still in high demand, but the Charlottesville, VA store has a lot of PLAZA CARDIGAN in the teal color and I think they may still have a couple of the magenta color.The Cville store also has a lot of the Bailey 44 PUCKER UP Cardigans in colors that aren't online. They have purple, navy, black, dark gray, and light gray in a wide variety of sizes (though they are low on smalls).Hope this helps someone!

Theodora–You may want to size up in the scarf-ties oxfords. I wear a 7 and got a 7.5. the fit is a little loose, but is still very comfortable. The 7s would have been tight and painful.I remember the majority of the reviews said to size up and that's why I sized up.
^ second that, I sized up 1/2 a size and they fit fine albeit a bit loose.

Naomi–thanks for the info on the new Austin Anthro. Hmmm, that old Ruehl location is prime real estate because it's close to the center of the main street in the Domain, and quite large, though I can't remember exactly because the space was divided up in so many faux clubrooms. This is exciting!

I just called the Newport Beach, CA store for the Lolland Sweater Dress L and it was gone 🙁 They actually said they had none of those dresses left.
Red Leslie,I for one will not spend $ 300 for a pair of winding ruffle boots. It has been marked down to $ 60 this week. You will pay 5x as much. The original price was only $ 248.Second, The winding ruffle boots are cute-looking and quirky. One drawback is that they do not have lining inside the boots. The leather seems to be rough and hard to me. It might take time to tame your boots molded to your feet.Third, the boots still have about 1" heels though. It makes me lean backward.If you can tolerate any heels at all, I would recommend the Grand Exit boots. It is in the Nov 09 catalog, I believe. These grand exit are much better. They have leather lining inside your boots. They are 2.5" heels. When I wear these heels, my posture seems to move forward. I walk "sexier" in these boots, per dh. It fits/molds into your feet the first time you wear them. I think it was on sale for $ 229. It was sold out the first day of the sale, but you still can trace them down with CS, whatever you decide.I have both boots, winding ruffle boots and grand exit boots. I love the latter much better. Cindy – Thank you for your input, I will definitely take that into consideration! I was already thinking I couldn't justify $300 for boots at the end of winter when I live in Texas and we only have 1.5 seasons. I didn't realize there were still winding ruffle boots anywhere at Anthro to even mark down to $60… crap! As for the other boots, unfortunately I can't do any heel over 2" b/c I have RA which makes my feet very jealous of all of you pretty shoe wearing people! Other Anon re lolland dress – Thank you!!! Red Leslie, I own the winding ruffle boots and I live in southern TX, and I definitely think they're worth more than the $60. I don't know if I would pay 300 for them since I didn't even pay full price ($258), but they are definitely special and reasonably comfortable. They always catch other peoples' attention, and I get compliments on them everytime I wear them. They are also incredibly versatile and I can wear them with almost anything.Even if you miss out on them, I'm sure anthro will come out with an equally unique boot in time. If you choose to track them down – make sure to size up half a size :).

Anon @ 10:52 PM – I recommend the Rockefeller Center Anthropologie if you can only make it to one. Enjoy your time in NYC!!On price adjustments…you have 14 days to get a PA. You can call a store/CS to do it as long as you have either your order form or the receipt. With the receipt they'll ask for your transaction number (it's down on the bottom) to look it up. For sale items if you've already gotten 1 PA you're not eligible for another one. For charge/send PAs your best bet is to call the store you bought the items from (again, they'll want the transaction number on the receipt). Red Leslie – I saw a few pairs of Winding Ruffle boots on ebay that went for over $300. Honest opinion? No item is worth more than retail no matter how badly you want it. It only encourages resellers. I agree that there will be another pair of boots from Anthropologie next year that will be just as covetable. If you can't find them in a store, I say pass. (Just my $0.02). I am looking for a Scalloped Dots Skirt in a 10. 🙂

Jamie, as of Tuesday afternoon, the University Village Seattle store had one pair of the boots in a 7.5 in the sales section (specifically, in case they ask, they were in the cubby where they keep the home sale items, right above the baskets of legwear). This store doesn't normally sell shoes, so these boots were obviously a return. They were marked at $129.I have no idea if they're still there, but it may be worth a quick call.

Found my Winding Ruffle Boots hiding in the back room of the Annapolis store (I called over 30 Anthros this morning…), so I found my game. Lindsey, since I was in the groove, I kept looking for you, but Austin, Greenvale, and Soho (the only leads I got for the 10s) did not have them. What ended up working for me was to have an employee at one of the stores look up what sizes were last reported being in stock in their database. From the ten leads I got, one was still in stock. And they definitely are 59.99 now.

Need advice from the ladies who have purchased the Avenues of Lace blouse:Have y'all figured out what to do with the silk sash at the hem? Yesterday, I debuted it at a girls' night out, and I couldn't get it to lay right. I tied it on the side like the product photo, but then one sash was way longer than the other (I also tried tying the sashes in the center, so the ends would be even, but I thought that looked stupid, frankly). Just returned Winged Victory shirt in size 4 to Palo Alto store in CA. It was too big for me.My two cents on Winding Ruffle Boots. I thought it was my lucky day when I found these in the sale room for $59.99 (!) this week in my size. I'm not sure they look great on me as the ruffles are placed on the side and may make me look wider (I'm 5'2"). I just couldn't resist the price but would definitely NOT pay $300.

I am sorry sara22185, it was a xs in Northlake, but it does seem to run big. I tried it on and it was very loose. It may fit if you need a small, but there was some stitching coming undone.Also, the Northlake had a few Decorated Cardi sweaters!And I remember, Southpark, had a black dripping blossoms tee in a Large.

I just returned Gumshoe sweater coat in ivory, size XS, at the Glendale, CA store, about an hour ago. It runs a little too big for me. The store also has one size XS wind rippled tee in the coveted color, burgundy, even though the chiffon is quite frayed.

Kay, you can return the skirt as long as you have the receipt and the skirt doesn't appear as though it has been worn :). Or if you have the Anthro card (not a credit card) and it was swiped when you purchased it.
I just saw a Diaphonous Tunic in pink, size 4 (for $9.95!! Saw it with my own two eyes!) at the Roosevelt Field Anthropologie today around 5:30pm. That mall closes at 6, so there's a good chance it survived the night.
