I have noticed a lot of community members sharing in-store deals and spots in the comments of various posts. Inspired by the weekly Seek & Find posts started by the lovely Alexis over at J.Crew Aficionada, I think now is a good time to start a similar weekly post here.
This post is for community members to trade information. You can ask for help in finding an item, report back on what you saw in-store at your local Anthro, ask general questions, make a request, or just stop by to say hello. I love how helpful this community can be!
Not a sale item, but I see the Climbing Cowlneck is appearing in stores in new colors…light blue, dark pink, and I think heathered grey?St. Louis store has a Skyfall Dress in 8, Verite Dress in 2, Crop Patterns Dress in 10, Best in Show blouses in 0 and 6. Tien – the NYC stores are on a different sale schedule. Soho does first cuts before most other stores (but the first cut is usually $10). I'm not sure if these are defective items or what. I can check Rockefeller tomorrow.

Anonymous @ 6:12pm: the Horizon Line dress was discounted from $138, but as Roxy said about Soho making minor price cuts before other stores, it wasn't discounted by that much. Sorry, I wish I could remember the exact amount on the tag! Also, Tien, regarding the Speckled Ink dress-I believe Soho had an XS and a S as of 2pm today. I'm not sure if they were defective–the tags were marked with "LQ" but I don't know what that means.

Brenda–about the Squeezebox Hoodie: I recently ordered one in S because I couldn't pass up the $30 sale price but…I returned it pretty quickly. The material was soft and cozy, but I just wasn't able to make the accordion pleated detail look right on me because it hit me at a weird place on my torso. With that said, as for styling suggestions, I think it would look cute slightly open, but loosely tied and off to one side. I think a slim sheath or tunic dress would look cute with it, or leggings, or skinny jeans. Good luck!

Just saw lots of black and turquoise wind rippled tees (3/4 sleeve version) at Chula Vista, CA store for $29.99. And one grey in XS. Was also able to score a navy Thousand Days skirt! I think they may have had one more in Navy, sz 12.

At the risk of being unpopular, I think the person with the Sz 4Emerald Cut Dress did the right thing – I would much prefer to return something to Anthropologie and get my money back with no potential hassles, than deal with blog sales to people that I don't know. She was nice enough to post on here that the dress might be available. She did not need to post it for sale here vs returning it to the store just because lots of people want it….

The Austin store has 4 Lolland Sweater dresses hiding in the store on the main floor (not in the sale room and not marked down for some reason) 3 are size small and 1 is size medium. style #930107 They also have 1 snakebite belt in brown size small.
My friend just returned a Rare Bloom tee in turquoise (THINK it's a medium, but not sure) to the Durham, NC store, if anyone is still looking for one. =)They also had tons of plaza cardigans in ivory and LIGHT gray, a few skyfall dresses in 12/10/6, and two converging roads sweaterdresses in L and XL. Hope that helps someone! I was able to score a honey butter skirt for only $50!! Yay! Also, for anyone looking for the berry bush or pindot tights, the Durham store had two berry bushes, one pindot in navy, and several in brown.
Some of you may want to call the Houston Woodlands store for sale items…I forgot to write everything down, but they had a lot of items in their sale section including a skyfall dress, amarena (sp?) dresses in pretty much every color and style, asters everywhere (I think in a 6) and many others.Sadly, no shoes or thousand days skirts. Oopsie! Ok so I should have read all 153 comments first :)Why didn't the Lolland Sweater dress go on sale in store when it went on sale online??? Does this sort of thing happen often? Either way, Austin store does have 1 snakebite belt brown size small. It is not the coveted grey color though.
I got a lolland sweater dress the other day calling a store and got the sale price. Not sure if it was because I called on a CS tip or not. One store I checked said she checked the saleroom and the place where they were before. So I think they had gone on sale there.
Scarf-tied oxfords run small, so you may want to consider sizing up. For these most part, I think these were primarily online, but they do turn up at stores if they're returns.
Oh, I should have said, size up half a size. I'm a 7, and I got a 7.5, but they're a little loose. The 7s would have been too tight, and painful to walk around for a long time in. Get them if you can find them! They're a great pair of shoes!
Thanks for the tip Stef – someone must have snapped up the Winding Ruffle boots at the Soho store – I called a few hours ago and the VERY sweet and patient sales associate told me I was the second one to call about them. She put me on hold and looked again, just in case – but they were not to be found. BTW – are they still full price? I have not tried the lolland sweater dress on personally but from everything I have read or heard has said it runs big. I have had no luck finding an xs so I got the small. I am waiting for it to come in the mail and crossing my fingers it fits!
Annie: I own the Lolland dress, and I'd say it runs a little big, though it's supposed to be a kind of drapey fit, I think. I'm usually a 0 or sized out of Anthro, and I got an XS (I'm about 105 lbs, 5'3, 24-25 in waist, if that helps). Thanks to you guys I was able to get the Lolland in a S even though CS persists in saying it is sold out!The 5th Avenue store claimed not to have it, but I think that's possibly because the first question the SA asked me was, "Is it on sale?," and I unthinkingly said yes, and then she couldn't find it (probably because she was looking in the sale section and it is mysteriously not on sale in store). The Denver store however had a small in and they are sending it to me now, although manager approval had to be obtained before they would give me the online sale price…so weird, I've seen things on sale in store but not online, but never the other way around.Annie — I took a S in the Lolland although I usually am a M in dresses, but then again I take a S (and sometimes an XS) in almost all Anthropologie sweaterdresses because I have a small waist.

Interestingly, when I inquired about the size 2 Thousand Days skirt they gave me ab inventory date as of last Sunday (I called Friday)! Just left the Anthro in Aventura FL (#3059333512); I was in a rush, but I took a quick peak in the sale room and it seemed fairly well stocked. Is the horizon line dress still full price?
Just left the Anthro at Schaumburg in IL where they had a couple Lolland dresses but for full price. When I told the SA they were on sale online she said they weren't able to match the price!? She thought that it was an online mistake! I didn't even bother arguing with her. Anyway there's an XS still there when I left around 5 pm. She also mentioned that the dress would come up on sale to match the online price this Tuesday. Good luck!

University Village Store in WA had a pair of Winding Ruffles Boots at the sale price, but for the life of me I can't remember the size! I think they were either a 7 or 8/8.5. The only other pair of shoes they had there were the Light the Way Booties sz. 10 at sale price as well. This store also had a ton of Hydrangea Flurry vests for anyone who's looking, from xs-on.

Anon @ 11:06- The Bouquet of Roses heels are available through the October or September catalogue. You can get to catalogue links via Anthro Addict's blog. The only sizes left are larger sizes 9, 9.5 and 10.I forgot to mention before that I returned a pair of Bouquet of Roses size 10 to the Chevy Chase store.
According to CS (I called several times last week to inquire), the bouquet if roses heels are not being restocked. It may be useful to check the october 2009 catalog for them in case they pop back—which is how I snagged a pair of size 6s last week! Sizes 9 and up are currently available through the catalog, in case anyone is looking.

I did a review of the Verite Dress here. However, I did not have much luck with it as it didn't seem cut for curves.

I thought it was a lost cause, but the other ladies who are looking may want to try!I also didn't realize I needed a drenched helenium tee until I read this thread – lol – so I snagged one of those this morning too.I am not able to get to our closest B&M (an hour away and I have three little boys!) so I REALLY appreciate all the tips here.Roxy – I'm so thankful you offer this on your blog!
FYI: The August '08 Catalog, Page 26 shows the Tawny Acres Boots available in size 8.5. LOVE these boots!!!

Not quite the same as the winding ruffles boots that people are looking for, but the Lumnious Boots are available through the Oct '09 catalog (page 41) for $69.95 in sizes 6, 7, 8, 9.5 & 10. They were originally $248, so it looks like a pretty stellar deal! I would probably be getting a pair of these if a)they had my size and b)I had not already spent my shopping budget on other anthro goodies 😉 -Emily Y

Does anyone know the style number of the drenched helenium tee? I called an Anthro store, and the sales girl had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about the tee.
I called the Chicago store that was listed here earlier (312) 899-0969 – It may have been the last XS though because the girl checked, came back on the line and then double checked to make sure…The item number is 910269Good luck!

If anyone is interested in the Luminous Boots, my recommendation is to go half a size down. I bought my regular 7s, and they are loose. I have to wear really thick sock for a good fit.
Just wanted to leave a big THANK YOU to this community, and especially to Lin – I'm now (finally, after waiting a tortuous EIGHT DAYS) the proud owner of sale price winding ruffle boots. Hooray! Sure, I probably should have gotten a 7, and these are a 7.5…but they're lovely, and it's not like they're going to fall off – they're boots, for crying out loud! And my first tall boots! (I know, I know, I'm SUPER late to that party.) Thanks all!!
Re: the winding ruffle boots at Roseville. Forgot to mention the sticker on the bottom says size 8 but the boots themselves are clearly marked size 6 (on the inside). So I finally decided Yes, I do need the drenched helenium tee so I called CS and they said the only store that had a Large was in Mississippi so called they said they never even carried that top. hmm…strange. Hoping for seek and find karma 🙂 Here's what I saw at the downtown Seattle store Tuesday (2/16) night:-1 brown snake bite belt – small! (I can't believe I finally got to try on this much coveted belt; alas it was a little loose on me)-painted porcelain tee – M-gumshoe sweatercoats – ivory – L, maybe XL-small packages cardis – all sizes-sky-and-snow blouse – most sizes-scalloped dots skirt – 4, 6, probably other sizes-scalloped clouds skirt – 0, 4, 6, probably other sizes-Lolland sweater dress – XS and SHope that helps someone!

Lindsey,If you look up stores on the anthro website it says which ones carry shoes. You can only look by state no idea how to look by which ones sell shoes.Jinii
So far Austin, TX and NJ have a size 6 in the Winding Ruffle Boots (no 10) damn my big feet :(On of the stores I called sold a pair of 10s a FEW DAYS AGO!!! arg.

Ok, called ALL the stores that carry shoes and found 3 pairs of size 6 Winding Ruffle Boots and nothing else :(Dallas played a cruel joke on me and said they had them but when she described them they were the wrong boots. so sad.
