This post is for community members to trade information. You can ask for help in finding an item, report back on what you saw in-store at your local Anthro, ask general questions, make a request, or just stop by to say hello. I love how helpful this community can be!

Thought this might be on interest to the Anthropologie loving/iPhone owning folks:I recently purchased the $2.99 Closet application for my iPhone, by Statik Applications. While this is a very nice easy to use app for organizing your clothes, I immediately saw it as useful for my love for my Anthropologie purchases specifically. There is a free Lite version,. But between you and me the full price $2.99 is a great deal I think. First I took pictures of a few of my items of clothing. Closet allows you to add these to categories like "Tops", "Bottoms" and "Footwear" but you also have the option of adding your own custom categories, like "Skirts" or "Anthro 2008 purchases", should you want to organize your clothes by when you bought them. That may be silly, but it's just an example of how you can organize them and customize it to what works for you. From personal experience I can tell you three things about adding items:1. GOOD LIGHTING. You clothes will look dull otherwise.2. Clothes on a body tend to look better than clothes just hanging on a hanger. So if you have the time, and possibly an assistant, try on each item of clothing and photograph it.OR3. If the item is still up on the Anthropologie website, you might be able to save yourself the trouble of lighting and styling and try to take a picture of the mannequin shot on the product page. This can be a little tricky, but it might save you time and effort. Each item you add also has a icon that looks like a folder. That's where I enter the name of an item or something to identify it, like my Eggshell Wedges by Schuler & Sons. If you don't know the name, you can make something up like "brown/orange braided belt". Following the instructions on the How To page, add items together to create outfits and you can even mark your favorite outfits. Outfits are also in categories such as work, formal and casual, but again you can add your own personalized category like, oh, say, Anthropologie Wish List Items. You can also e-mail items or outfits to friends, which I thought was fun. You can use the app to randomly put together an outfit, generate packing lists and just generally keep track of your clothing. jinli, the hedy platforms are stil available on anthro's site but hidden. do a google search for Anthropologie Hedy Platform, click on the cached link and you'll see a size 9 and 10. i just ordered mine in a 9 and confiemd with CS that i got them!! fyi they are still full price at $162…

Anon @ 7:48- I ordered a pair that have not arrived yet. From the reviews, they are not a dark olive green. I think I read on another blog as well that they are not a really deep green.

muse,The Myrtle Beach, South Carolina store had one Thousand Days Skirt in navy size 12 when i visited this afternoon.Myrtle Beach also had a TON of the Stormy Seas necklace in just about every color on sale for $29.99. I saw a few size M Drenched Helenium tees in the sale room and 1 M black/gold iteration of the Bold Boutonniere/Grand Cru Dress. To anyone looking for the Plaza Cardigan, it looked like they'd been freshly restocked with just about every size and color. There is a medium snakebite belt in brown in the Tucson store.I don't know if anyone is looking for the claudine tee in lilac, which is sold out in most sizes online, but they also had those in every size in the Tucson store. Lot of skirts, including the cafe creme, to and fro, fargyl in quite a few sizes.
Jenny, just saw the Winding Ruffles Boots in 8.5 on ebay–priced close to full price tho. But i have a pair and they are well worth the price I think. Hope this helps.

I called quite a few stores in my quest for the Twilit skirt in a size 2 and I'll share my results in case anybody is also looking for the skirt. – Bellevue, WA (425-451-7171) has a 10 and a 12.- Downtown Seattle does not have any Twilit skirts.- University Village store didn't say what sizes they have left but there are no 0s or 2s. – Portland, OR store doesn't have any Twilit skirts. – The store at Bridgeport Village in Tigard, OR (503-620-0682) has a size 8. – The store in Henderson, NV (702-617-2247) has a size 4.- NYC Fifth Ave (212-627-5885) store has a size 8.Whew! I'm glad I have a good long distance phone plan otherwise my phone bill would be awful this month! I hope this list helped somebody, and if anybody sees a sz 2, please let me know. Hi Fiona – Thank you so much on your info regarding the Twilit skirt. I actually just phoned the Nevada store and had them ship the size 4 to me! It might be too big on me, because I am normally a size 0 or 2 as well, but after having spend so many days searching for it, I was glad to find one! By the way, I have phoned all the NY stores, Boston, Philadelphia, Durham, Miami, Washington D.C. and Texas stores for a Twilit in size 0 or 2, but none are at any of those stores either. Good luck with your continued search!! And for any one looking for the size 4 Twilit – if it is too big on me, I will post on this forum.
I was just at the Rockefeller Anthro late this afternoon, and they still had a few grey and black wind-rippled tees on the sales rack. there were sizes S and L in both colors, I believe, as well as one grey XS. There were also a couple of Great Escape skirts left in sizes 0 and 2, a Tracy Reese Snow Queen dress in size 8, and a few skyfall dresses (I didn't get to see the sizes).

BTW, the Durham, NC store had a couple of ivory and light (not dark; I've never seen this color before, actually) gray plaza cardigans, if anyone is still looking for those. I didn't check the sizes, but there were several of each.Also several skyfall dresses in various sizes (I think in the 2-8 range, but I don't know for sure, so can't hurt to call!).

I feel like I have seen people mention that they received items with free shipping when they do this, but I have been charged $6.95. Just curious, thanks!

So, then she told me okay, well then I get free shipping. So I just called an out of state Anthro to have them ship me something that my store doesn't have and they said the only way they won't charge me shipping is if I go to my local Anthro and have them call to say they don't have the item. I'm confused…if my local Anthro had the item, why would I be calling you?? And I can't go out today because of the snowstorm we had this weekend…grrr! Sorry, just needed to vent.
Saw a boatload of hydrangea vests at the Boston (Boylston St.) store.
I think it is all about the SA. Some do and some don't. Other times they tell me they will waive them for me. It is different every time. If there is a shipping policy I am not sure all the stores follow it.
Just to add to the last vent; I do think charging shipping from a store to your home is reasonable. That being said, the inconsistency and confusion about what the policy is regarding whether or not shipping is free is quite frustrating and doesn't seem fair. Anthro, if you are reading this, please clarify!

I called the Soho store at 11:15 (pacific time) about the winding ruffle boots – someone took my request and phone number and said they would call me back shortly. I called back at 11:45 – said they were still working on it. It's now 2:30 pacific time…still haven't heard. :(Should I call again and bug 'em?Is this standard procedure for the Soho store? Every other Anthro I've called just puts me on hold & checks…
Patti, I would be patient. The NYC Anthros are crazy busy from 11 AM on every weekend. Their shoes are located way in the back but all the phones are up front, so if it's busy it's a bit of a pain for them. Maybe try again at 6:30 EST?
PS I know it's really hard to wait!! It's happened to me several times too and I just want to know right away.

Kelly: I'm 5'3 and petite, and I own the Flight of Swans dress. I love it and think it looks great on petite gals! If I were taller, it would have been too short for my comfort (it's a few inches above my knees, but not too bad). I've been told it runs small, but it fit true to size for me. I'm usually a 0 or sized out in Anthro dresses, and this one fit well in a 0 (I tried the 2 previously, and it was too big). For reference, I am ~105 lbs, 24-25 in waist, and 34B. Hope that helps!
