Styled: Rare Bloom Tee

This post is for several of you who requested styling options for the Rare Bloom Tee ($58, review here) in teal (color no longer online).

For option one we tried a work option. Though this top has a deep v-neck I’ve not found it to be revealing. If you are concerned you can always wear a cami underneath. Since the color of the top is so wonderfully saturated we surrounded it with neutral pants and a blazer that is just a bit cropped. I have a review of the Boundless Blazer ($118) coming up later this week but one thing I like about it is that you can easily wear it open.

We played up color a bit in the accessories, especially with the colorful bracelet that stays in the jewel tone theme. Though I am not personally a fan of oxfords my friends convinced me they looked best with this outfit — and seeing it now I have to agree. If oxfords aren’t your thing flats or heels will work almost as well here.

In this outfit:
Rare Bloom Tee ($58)
Boundless Blazer ($118)
Minor Mariner Trousers ($88)
Sculpted Oxfords ($178)
Descending Diamonds Tote ($258)
Pearl Perdix Necklace ($38)
Cordial Bracelet ($38)
Buttercup Posts Earrings ($18)

This second outfit is more of a fun look. Though it’s a bit short for our taste we love how the skirt has little flecks of color that match the tee. Surrounding these two pieces with grey builds the perfect palette to show off the beautiful top. We echoed the pattern of the sweater in the purse. The purse’s texture echoes that of the skirt bringing this outfit together nicely. We only wish the skirt was 5 inches longer so we could pull this look off in real life.

In this outfit:
Rare Bloom Tee ($58)
Painter’s Work Skirt ($288)
Ruffled Terraces Cardigan ($88)
Hue Opaque Tights (now $4)
Bering Strait Heels ($330)
Temperate Tote ($98, cached link)
Sea Petal Earrings ($28)
Tenderheart Necklace ($38)

Love both outfits! The teal color is fantastic. OT – I am in desperate search for the Horizon Line Dress in a size 4. Called CS with no luck. If anyone spots on in the "shell" color, please let me know. Thanks!jc.greendino@gmail.com

I am in love with that second outfit! I haven't ever seen this top either, it's so cute! Love teal anything!

I love this top so much–I have it in the teal. My inclination was also to pair it with oxfords, which spurred my purchase of the tried and true oxfords. In fact, I'm wearing them today! My personal favorite outfit with this top is black skinny cropped pants, tried and true oxfords, and maybe a white cardigan over the blouse if needed. What an interesting idea to pair it with that skirt, though!

I love this top! I have it in the pink (which I was surprised that it looked so lovely against my skintone), and I wish that I had snatched up the teal is well. But my poor wallet, it will have to wait!

Oh, oh! In addition to my request to have the Vie En Rose dress styled, I would like to request styling options for the Openwork Vines skirt! I just purchased it yesterday and have been trying to think of tops to pair it with. I'm thinking with the bow at the waist, the rare bloom tee wouldn't work…it would have to be something I could tuck in?Even just getting your take on tops and not full on styling would be greatly appreciated 🙂
