Attention Portland-area Anthro fans!

The fabulous Alicia from Likely Badger is organizing an after-hours Anthropologie shopping event at the Bridgeport store in Tigard, Oregon. Umm, I wanna go! Alicia kindly supplied the following announcement:

After Hours Party at Bridgeport Anthro in Portland

Attention all Anthro lovers in the Portland area: The wonderful gals at the Bridgeport Anthropologie in Tigard, Oregon have offered to throw an after hours party at their store. This is open to all Anthro lovers in the Portland, Oregon area. It will most likely be during the week, and a fun chance to mingle with fellow appreciators of great style.

If you’re interested in participating, shoot an email to Alicia. She’s organizing the party through her blog and would love to know how many people are interested.

I would love to do something like this at one of the NYC Anthropologies sometime!

I'm not in Portland, unfortunately, but I do want to give a big shout out to how helpful and sweet Alicia is! She's adorable, and I love her blog.

Roxy: I would cross the Hudson to attend, so if you decide to do it in NYC, I would be there! I wanna go to this one too……

I wish I lived close. I have a question. Is there a place online that tells where anthro is opening new stores? I am a fan of the facebook page and under "events" it announces store openings, but I am wondering if there is somewhere online that lists future plans of places to build them? I live in south Alabama and the closest one to me is 3.5 hours away. I am really wanting them to open one is central or south Alabama. Thanks.

There are lots of commenters and bloggers who work for other Anthropologies. Hopefully this will inspire such events around the country. I'd love to see one at the new Chicago store!

Wow, this sounds like a lot of fun! I'd love to meet other Anthro-obsessed people in real life :)Roxy – If there were to be a party at an NYC Anthro, there's a chance that I could come. I have an open invitation to give some math lectures at a public girls' school in Queens and I might be able to arrange it so that the two events coincide.

Alicia is awesome for arranging this! I wish I could fly to Portland. :-(But I'd like to chime in and say that I'd be interested in an NYC event, if one were to be arranged! I'd take the train up from Baltimore for sure.

    I will be there! πŸ™‚

Rachel – I don't think Anthropologie publishes a centralized "store opening" list unfortunately. I'll have to see what I can do about a NYC event…not even sure who to talk to but I'll start at Rockefeller Center since that's where most of their district peeps are. No promises of anything but I'll give it a shot. πŸ™‚
