Hmmmm. I might actually sit this sale out. Nothing is jumping out at me. The stores will be buzzing today for sure.

I picked up the stained glass top that I had been looking at for a while and the leona tieback. Otherwise, outside of a couple of things on backorder I ordered to make the free shipping, I did much better earlier in the month. Good pickings for those that were waiting on some items! Happy Holidays!

I think I might be with you, Blondmoma. Nothing on my wish list or in my cart was marked down. Looks like I will not be getting anything, which kind of makes me sad since today is the last day for free shipping.

Chroma, baby, come to mama! I picked up the Modern Matriarch boots as well, based on reviews claiming it was really comfortable. I don't normally look at UO clothes, but this seemed unusually grown & appealing: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/prod

I just got my Always A Lady skirt in the mail yesterday – do you think they'll do a price adjustment if I take it into a store, even though the skirt is already sold-out online?I have to agree with the others. I'm not as excited for this sale. I was really hoping for the Thousand Tiers Dress and the Sterling Dress… Maybe next week.

@Lola, they can make the adjustment at a store, most of time I call Anthro CS and they do it over the phone. The sale wasn't too exciting, I got the many mood skirt it looked really good on you and it was on wishlist and the leona tieback to see how it looks on me.

I am really relieved that there isn't anything I've been coveting in this sale! However, this will not stop me from going to anthro this evening 🙂

Picked up the nourishing rays tank and the amarena sweater dress in plum, along with a few ornaments to get up to free shipping total. Hoping there are decent sales in Jan. so I can use my bday discount.

Hi Roxy, just wanted to say thanks for introducing your readers to the Many Moods skirt. I saw it on sale today and tried it on for fun. Fits well and is flattering. If it weren't for you I would have passed it up. Thanks!

Roxy – I just wanted to say that I love this blog! I just called and got a price adjustment on the "Always A Lady Skirt." I never would have realized that the skirt was on sale this morning if I hadn't read your blog (it was sold out online by the time that I woke up). Thanks to you, I'm $70 richer (which is a lot for a grad student)!

  14. December 23, 2009 / 8:25 pm

Stephanie – Thanks for your suggestion about calling CS. It was much easier to make a phone call than to battle the lines and pre-holiday parking shortage at the mall.

Thanks to Julie who left the tip about the Rockland, MD anthro having an add'l 40% off sale! i called them and had them ship me two items. The downside is you pay $10 for shipping, but you totally save in the end!!

anon @ 915: The Southpoint store in Durham, NC had a bunch of anemone cardigans on a table … I saw them this past Sunday. They were still full price tho. Hop that helps!

  20. December 23, 2009 / 9:57 pm

I've seen the mixed media boots in person. They look just like they do in the photos. Not particularly my style, so I never tried them one, but they seemed well made and good quality.

Hi Roxy!Merry Christmas to you! I love your blog and always take a look at it when I can.I am taking a look at the sale and I am tempted to buy the cascading tulle cardigan. What do you guys think about it for a girl sz 12, 5.3 ft tall? I loved it on the model… but I am faaar away from looking like the model. I bought the dress that the model is wearing with it and I would like to have the cardigan to complement it.Have a nice 2010 everybody!!!

  22. December 25, 2009 / 2:13 am

Hi Marcela! Merry Christmas. 🙂 I think you are about the perfect height for the cardigan, as I found it to be short on. You will however find the sleeves to be long so be prepared to either fold or tailor. Also, I would encourage you to wear a belt with it as the ties don't really create the shape you want from this jacket. I think on-sale it's a great choice and you'll love it. And the jacquard dress — TDF. Love it!
