Hi Roxy,Anthro updated the sale section late this morning. It's updated now. However, some of the items are selling quick because one of pair of the shoes I was looking at this morning is no longer there.

OMG I bought that Emerald Cut Dress immediately! I CANNOT wait to get it. I also got the Blackberry Infusion top… and then I figured I might as well really splurge so I got the Lolland sweater dress…. Hope it looks okay on me, as the reviews tend to be mixed.

I discovered your blog a few months ago and absolutely adore it. Definitely the best anthropologie blog, of all the ones I follow. I've been trying to find the names of a few items that I bought back in 2007/08, because I'm an anthro-spaz and want their item pictures/a prestigious name with which to refer to them ;). I was wondering if you could help me, since you seem to have a pretty thorough anthropologie inventory. The first is a scarf from 2007, it's cream wool and then there's an additional smaller scarf sewn into it that's braided, brown and sparkly. Its by moth. The second is a cream 1/4 sleeves top by RicRac, with puffed sleeves, and 3 flower shaped buttons down the chest. The last one is a 2008 cardigan, I *think* by Moth, but I'm not sure. It has three quarter sleeves, that swoop out, and a knitted belt around the middle that's outlined in grey, cream background with a greeny turquoise pattern. The sweater itself is green. It also came in light brown in the store, with a navy and cream belt (the 'belt' is sewn in). I can provide pictures if that would help. You can email me at gjdickie@hotmail.com if that helps, or just reply here 🙂

Hi Gloria, I will try my hardest to find out those product names for you. Stay tuned…I may email you for more details. 🙂

hi roxy!i'm glad the gorillapod worked for you- nice pics! i did some damage at anthro today as well… the blackberry infusions blouse, hint-of-sheer in ivory (figured it'd look good under skirts), one of the longsleeved loungewear pieces, and finally the black snakebite in M. I was waffling a little about which size to get (my waist is exactly 30" but then it expands pretty quickly on the way to my hips 😉 so I went for the larger size and figured I could layer it over stuff as well. the minako blouse jumped off the site as soon as i got there, but my 10/12 has been sold out for ages anyway. I might call around but I think I'm over my anthro tops budget! finally, i'm salivating over the new deletta "rare bloom tee." hoping to see it in store soon!

I tracked down a size 0. And it's coming from no other than your 5th Avenue store. We'll see how it fits..

I think I better go try on the Twist tee (of course, no I can't remember the name). DO you remember if it ran long? And maybe the purse. I always want a new purse, but hate to spend money on them because I carry it once, then it sits in my closet. Someday, I'll find a bag that is the "one."

I love the Old World Lace-Ups. But theyre down to only size 11s. Stores might have more though, although not a lot of anthros carry shoes. And thanks for looking Roxy!

Diem – Go 5th Ave!Not super long on me Georgine, it hit about mid-hip. I'm a bit tall though. It was form-fitting so you may want to size up for the baby-to-be. :)Thanks Gloria. I'll start searching tonight after work.

I bought the emerald cut dress and the dainty duffle bag. Ugh…this is in addition to the order for the Inverness trench I put in last night. I need to go to shopping rehab – one of these pieces will definitely have to go back!

I picked up a few layering pieces (Ruffle Tier Tank in white, Sheer Shawl top in pink, Paonia Scoopneck). Also got the Kara hoodie featured as a hidden find on the Anthro Aficionado blog a while back (too good to pass up at $9.95!)And then, since I needed to hit the $150 mark for free shipping, I added the new Rare Bloom tee in Turquoise. 🙂 So excited for this one! Like most everybody else, I was trying really hard to justify buying the Emerald Cut dress – but I have nowhere to wear it, and am wary of the shortness of the skirt. So I sadly passed on it. It's fun reading what everyone is choosing!

Hey Roxy 🙂 If you haven't read Breakfast at anthro's ebay post, you should! I had to tell you because you're lucky enough to live in NYC and you can go to the event and maybe get some low priced rare anthro pieces! Lucky Girl..Oh and your post yesterday about the new anthropologist website was amazing!.Much Respect-Natalie

  14. November 4, 2009 / 12:10 am

Hey Natalie! I saw the post and I think I will have to swing by just because they mentioned Anthropologie. I have to say I have mixed feelings about it though. How many of these products come from resellers, for example? I try not to support resellers because they take products I want and sell them at a higher price. Anyway, thanks for the heads up! 🙂

robyn I would love to hear about the new Rose Bloom top! I was in Anthro tonight looking for it but it's not out yet. Nice buys everyone! I got the Party Petal Skirt and also a non-sale item: the Bend and Bow Bag in blue. More to come I'm sure…

Thanks for the post on the sale updates. I will be hitting the store on Friday.

Hi Roxy-Is the Sabine dress short? It is so hard to tell and some reviewers say it is and others don't mention it. I work in a corporate office and can't wear anything too short (even w/tights). I might be able to add a lace sliip for length, but was wondering your thoughts? Thanks in advance!Christy

  18. November 4, 2009 / 1:55 am

Hi Christy, I didn't think it was short. The regular hit me right at my knee (the petite is a couple of inches shorter). I think you would be fine wearing this to even a conservative office — it passes the fingertip test.

  19. November 4, 2009 / 2:03 am

Thanks Roxy! I appreciate your help (my wallet does not)! Might have to get this one!

  20. November 4, 2009 / 2:07 am

LOL. I should really add enabling to the blog disclaimer. 😉

  21. November 4, 2009 / 3:04 pm

i wanted the Emerald cut (Green is my fave! especially that green) but i'd have to wear a cardigan with it and couldn't figure what to wear with it …that and $150 for a sales dress seems to high for me still 🙁 ugh, i hope i don't regret this!…but seriously i hate salesi always end up going crazy! (funny thing is these are all in black)All Trades Dress in Black, Lasata Jacket, Swept Away Tank, Wagonwheels socks (for my boots!), Finely Framed Pullover (organic cotton!)I also can't believe the caramel belt is on sale, i love that thing to pieces :PNonSales i also got the AG rosebud jeans and the Luxe Dotted Gray tights (as suggested by Adrianne)I wanted the Akita Chemise and had the Large in my cart but it was gone by the time i checked out 🙁

  22. November 4, 2009 / 3:18 pm

omgi checked on the emerald dresssaw they only had a 12 leftbought it. done.now to find a cardigan

  23. November 4, 2009 / 3:20 pm

Oh wow Hazel. I shouldn't be surprised to see it go so quickly but I am! You'll love the dress, it's so stunning. I would pair it with a shorter cardigan as the skirt is pretty voluminous. Sounds like you had an excellent haul.

Anyone know where Anthro items go once they aren't sold in the sale room? It seems like there would be a fair amount of product, but things only get marked down once and they are gone. I can't imagine it alllll sells at the first markdown. Where does it go?
