Metapost: Announcing, uh, the big announcement

I am very excited to announce a new recurring feature coming to Effortless Anthropologie very soon: Styled at Anthropologie! (Working title.) Over the last couple of weeks I have been chatting with Stylists at the 5th Ave and Rockefeller Center Anthropologie locations here in NYC. I have missed the Soho Stylist so far but hope to connect with her soon.

The idea behind the feature is this: community members can submit a request for styling suggestions for an Anthropologie item via comments or email. It should be a current product that is not online-only. Then, an Anthropologie Stylist from one of the 3 stores mentioned above will create a look (or looks) to fit your needs!

As you can probably tell I am still nailing down the logistics of the feature but I would like to start collecting requests now. Feel free to leave a comment on this post with an item you’d like to see styled, or you can email me at snapsparkchik at gmail dawt com. Just let me know which item you’d like to see styled and specify what kind of look, i.e. day, night, work, date, casual party, etc.

Just to reiterate this blog is not affiliated with Anthropologie; the stylists are doing this of their own accord. And I totally appreciate it! So if there is an item you’d like to see outfitted up let me know! I am very excited to kick this off and hope to run the first post next week, depending on scheduling.

Roxy, this is awesome! I would loove to see the Cerulean Swing coat with something that isn't jeans. I would also be interested in my Blooming Trio Belt (if it's widely in stores) because it's giving me a very hard time. Lastly, how about the Honey Butter Skirt? Ahhhh I am so excited! You're the best!

Great blog and great idea to add styling! I'd love to see the sabine dress (currently on sale) styled in way that's appropriate for fall/winter in New York, especially the shoe portion of the outfit. Thanks!

ooh, i would just love to see two season styling of all sorts of things: like when they do a dress, to do it two ways. I know: that is asking a lot of them but i know their own features offer these kinds of ideas so that we will be inclined to buy because we can imagine the item as a multi-season…

Love this new addition! How about the Acclimate Sweater (for work and casual) and the Endless Pleats Cardigan, in turquoise – I am so tempted by it, but feel unsure what to wear under it to winterize it or what to pair it with.

Roxy, I'm interested in seeing the Solo Stroll Skirt styled with something appropriate for daytime. I'm a 24 year old high school teacher so dressing appropriate is high on my list these days! I just wanted to let all of the readers know that if they are interested in the Snakebite Belt Charlotte Russe has a VERY similar black "Snakebite Belt" for $6.99! The buckle is only slightly larger and the quality is that of the Snakebite but, hey, it's $6.99! I didn't buy it because I already have all 3 colors but my friend bought it because she didn't want to wait until mid-December for the waitlist. I love the Finishing Touches shirt you tried on earlier today. I just wanted to let you know that this weekend I ran into (and bought) basically the same shirt from Tarjay. I bought it for only $10.49 plus it's tunic length, which worked much better for me. Here's the link:http://www.target.com/Mossimo-Black-Long-Sleeve-Stripe/dp/B002BYUG8Y/ref=br_1_16?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&searchView=grid5&searchNodeID=2182523011&node=2182523011&searchRank=salesrank&searchPage=1&searchSize=30&id=Mossimo%20Black%20Long%20Sleeve%20StripeHope this helps someone. Great feature! My request: I would like to see a work-appropriate size 14 look with the Horizon Line Dress. By which I mean that there has to be something to cover my arms because teh office is cold, but on the other hand, and on the other, I don't want to look like a well-upholstered barrel.

Hi Roxy,I would love to see the "Always a Lady" skirt styled…I love it but I'm at a loss as to what to wear with it besides the Berry Bush tights…one can not go to work in only tights and a skirt after all 😉

Hi Roxy, I found your blog through Kim's, and I love it! This is such a great idea! I would like to see the Converging Roads Sweater Dress styled. Casual styling is fine, but if they have some ideas for dressing it up a tad, that would be awesome too!

Great concept! I just purchased the wild indigo chemise and yes I know it if for sleeping purposes but the sales associates said most girls wear them as dresses. Would love to see how it could be styled for a more fall/winter like appearance. Thanks!

Great idea! I'm desperate for ideas with the winged victory top – I need a cardigan to go over it and am struggling with the shape, Any suggestions, anyone?

Fantastic idea! I'm somewhat color coordinating impaired, so while the cut is simple and easily workable (I should know, I bought two of the earlier versions) I'm stumped with what all to do with the Great Escape skirt. Such a lovely golden color, but it utterly intimidates me.

Roxy: would love to see the Unexpected Treasures Cardi for work and also the Leona Tieback for work and weekend. Finally the Diaphonous Tunic with something besides skinny jeans.
