New arrivals: Draped, Tucked and Ruffled

Collected Corolla Tee ($78)
The necklace adornment on this top
reminds me of a cornucopia.
Bunting Top ($138)
A gorgeous neckline adorns
this pricey Leifsdottir beauty.

Anthropologie at ShopStyle
Candelabra Top ($88)
The sparkly neck and waistline draw me in.
The shape gives me pause —
I’m interested to try this one on.

Anthropologie at ShopStyle
Sugarplum Cowlneck ($88)
First impression? Let’s rustle up some dogies.
Anthropologie at ShopStyle
Tucked & Gathered Tee ($48)
I hope this top is a pleasant surprise
like the Rimpled Tee ($68).
Mod’s-The-Word-Dress ($248)
I’ll take this and one pair
of tall boots to go please.

Juxtaposed Sweater Jacket ($98)
From the looks of it,
boiled wool makes this sweater a bit softer.

Anthropologie at ShopStyle
Regalia Peacoat ($528)
Military-inspired though I
was expecting brass buttons.

Anthropologie at ShopStyle
Zip-Up Cardi ($78)
Appeals to my off-center side.

Mod's the Word Dress I saw yesterday. Didn't get a chance to try on with a friend and I knew I was driving her crazy looking at everything (haven't converted her get to Anthro). It is well made. I hope to get to try on in the next week or so, since I have an event in early November that I think this would be perfect for.

I saw and tried on the Juxtaposed Sweater Jacket. I liked it and it fits true to size. I did not get it because of the hoodie it has but it is soft and super cute. I just wished it did not have the hoodie.

lol, i'm developing the habit of looking at your blog and anthroholic's blog then mozying over to anthropologie's site. the most interesting things i like in this post are the juxtaposed sweater jacket and the regalia coat…which is waaaaaaaaay over my coat budget (it's so droolworthy!). for the juxtaposed sweater is the material thin like the gumshoe sweatercoat? i really don't like the gumshoe coat thin material..ah, boiled wool always seems to differ wherever i go..

Anon, great news about the Mod's-the-Word dress! I can't wait to try it on.Rosa, I hadn't even noticed the hoodie component until you mentioned it. That's too bad that it's not removable. LOL Hazel. Kim and I will do that to you. 😉 I am not 100% sure that the sweater is boiled wool. Brewer Family, my sister tried it on at the Rockefeller Center store (NYC) last weekend so hopefully it is still there! If it is not in your store yet it should be soon.

I'm excited about you trying on the candelabra top, too. I keep going back to that page! The color selection is nice, as wellPS- my word for word verification is "mating." made me laugh.

Roxy, I know. It was hard to see in the store as well. I saw it in the black and it was adorable, but the hoodie is just not for me. It's nice and cozy. If anyone is interested, I saw it at the DC store in Georgetown.
