The email is here from Anthropologie saying they’ve added to sale and the online section has updated, albeit one day later than normal. There are some notable additions online but I have to say the sale section in-store had either been picked over or wasn’t updated yet. I didn’t see many new items that caught my eye. I will try to run by one of the other Anthropologies after work to see if the story is the same throughout the city (NYC) but hopefully you are having better luck locally. How is your store’s sale section looking?

I'm totally disappointed in the online sale! None of the things I'm waiting for were marked down. it's sad – I was hoping for so much more…:( Especially as I can't make it to the store anytime soon…
Nothing new on sale at the Boston Anthro as of Monday night. It's probably the saddest I've seen the sale section look in quite awhile.
Down here in Texas it's usually a hit or miss. When I'm in San Antonio they tend to delay the addition of sale items in store until they've already been on sale online for a while. I visited the Anthro in Austin last week and their room of sale items was incredible, but I'm sure it's a different story this week.
I'm disappointed – I'm getting really tired of these dismal sale updates. They add three things to each section and call it a big sale. I was at the store last night and the sale section was majorly picked over.I am disappointed -I've been waiting for the Morning Leaves Cardi to go onsale for ever – it finally does and my size (xs) was gone immediately 🙁
I live in Tucson, and as I noted in an earlier post comment, my husband went by the local store last night to do a return. Since they know me there (by name, and even his and my daighter's names), they told him to tell me to come in, as they had spent all day doing markdowns. So maybe my little local store will have some good stuff!
There were a few things on my wishlist that went on sale that I couldn't pass up. I also really want that Honeyed Peplum Skirt, but I just can't afford it right now. But if when I can it's sold out at Anthro, at least Bloomingdale's carries it as well.
The new markdowns seem to be mostly from the July catalogue which is when the tide started turning for me back towards stuff I want. So the next round of sale items should be really exciting!Jacquelyn I hope you do find lots of lovely things on sale at your local Anthro. 🙂 They wouldn't tell your hubby unless they had good stuff.AL – agreed about Bloomie's.
