The Bungalow Dress ($278), by Plenty by Tracy Reese was getting a lot of attention in-store. I think I am in the minority here but this dress throws me for a loop. I like both layers of it. Separately. Together? I’m not sold. The draping of the skirt is lovely. The sweetheart neckline is a delight. To me it looks as though the striped number underneath was added to keep this dress firmly in the demure camp. Maybe if the stripes were pink or khaki I would be doing better. I feel like the black, though a nice contrast, is a bit too strong. Feel free to tell me I’m crazy in the comments…what do you think of this dress?
I actually really loved the combination. I think if they were two separate pieces it'd just be too plain and unremarkable for Anthropologie. I actually thought the stripes were navy… which I think I'd like better. It'd be a little more nautical.

I loveee it, the black and the white is sharp- but the sweetheart neckline softens it a bit.
I love it, and it is already backordered in sizes 0,2,4,6 online. I was going to try to hold out for a sale but I might have to bite the bullet for this one.

i think it's fantastic… however, it looks like it would be too short for my 5'11" frame. 🙂
anon, I think so. I just ordered it from a store and I am planning on wearing it to several events including a wedding this year. Well that is if I don't look horrible in it;)
I have checked all store and online and the dress is gone! I went to all the Stores in the Phoenix area and not one of them carried the dress at all. CRY!
i just bought this dress yesterday from the New York Look in NYC. They have a couple of locations. It was on sale for $165. The store on 41 street had one left in a size 4
The dress is listed on ebay in a size 4 and 8!
