Bought and Loved: Anthropologie edition

A peplum tank that lengthen and leans! Meadow Rue’s Lia Tank ($78) is a total hit with me.

I’ve been on a tear at Anthropologie recently, brought upon by their sudden wake-up call and journey back into the classics that make us love them so! From items like the pretty and versatile Lia Tank ($78) above which I’m pairing with white cuffed jeans (more on that inside) to more expected delights, my summer closet is looking mighty sweet right now!

Inside, some of my favorite recent Anthro purchases…

My search for joggers is over. Winner: the Rodanthe Joggers ($118).

As I mentioned during the spring, I apparently love joggers. The hunt for the right pair was on and after several tries I can now say that the Rodanthe Joggers ($118, on me) are my winners! These joggers come in blue (shown above, slightly darker in person) and green. They started off mighty tight on me in the large but have loosened up slightly without stretching out too much. They hit at the right height on my 5’8″ frame and don’t look sloppy. I’m so delighted with them that I bought both colors, and returned the Greenway Joggers ($98) which I’d had such high hopes for, but stretched out way too much over the course of the day for me.

Another pant on my list this year was white cuffed jeans. I tried on the AG Stevie Cuffs ($168) but alas, this Stevie cut which never really worked on me now really doesn’t work on me — I could not pull even a 32 up over my hips. So I decided to turn to Pilcro instead. In the past I’ve had issues with Pilcro’s denim stretching out too much, but so far so good with the Pilcro Hyphen High-Cuff Jeans ($138, on me)! These looser boyfriend cut jeans are just what I need right now, and the cuff will look great with heels. (Sadly, I’m still confined to flats while I heal up from a broken foot. First world problems.) I took a 31 in these. If you have a straighter shape or narrow hips, the Pilcro Parallel Cuff Jeans ($138) are for you. You can make the latter work with curves too if you prefer the high rise — size up two sizes.

White jeans look fantastic with the Lia Tank ($78), which I took in a medium in. I like to finish off the look with a long necklace, something like the Luciana Tassel Necklace ($58).

Other Anthro purchases recently that I’m totally raving over:
Cafe Dress ($158, on me) — lightweight, runs small around the chest. I went up to an 8.
Dayflower Dress ($148, on me) — runs TTS, I’m wearing it over bathing suits or a light blue bra.
Laced Garden Shift Dress ($198, on me) — wearing this nearly every weekend! I went up to a 10.
Lily Lace Blouse ($118, on me) — just as fab as I hoped it would be! Went up to an 8 for my chest.
— Split-Neck Swing Tank ($118, on me) — runs large, looks great with this necklace.
Tombolo Vest ($138, on me 1, 2) — so versatile! Runs TTS, the moss acts as a neutral.
