Outfits: Vivid Ones

It’s been awhile since Anthropologie’s outfit sets have caught my eye, but the set up on the website now certainly caught my attention! Good-bye white, ivory and blah and hello color! Also a relief? The longer proportions of the outfits…but not maxi-long. Good-bye choosing between 16″ skirts and 34″ skirts. Hello pretty and practical.

This first look above could be so many things. Work outfit. Day on the town outfit. Casual event outfit. Meeting up for dinner with the gals outfit. Gallivanting about outfit. It justifies the cost of the look (that’s $680 for those of you playing along at home) a bit better.

In this outfit: Icebox Pullover ($198), Full-On-Floral Skirt ($198), Offhand Belt ($38), Lonko Earrings ($98), Elevated Oxfords ($148).

Artistic splatters placed just so bring a smile to my face. I adore the cut of the Sea Nettle Shift ($188) — the wide shoulder base on top of column skirt. I will probably have to size up and up in the dress but it will be worth it. The amusing octagon earrings polish things off nicely.

Also in this outfit: Stop Sign Hoops ($98).

Pattern mixing gets taken to another level. Polka dots and polka dots? Blue and blue? Brilliant! It’s set off nicely from the mustard yellow room. I can only hope it translates this well in real life, or at least the fitting room.

In this outfit: Traced & Tabbed Buttondown ($88), Seeing Spots Shorts ($68), Color Swatch Scarf ($48).

Just one more look to ooh and aah over. The product shot of the Pixel Impressionist Shift ($158) does nothing for me, but I like the editing done here. The Caldera Necklace ($68) is a great accent choice, as it pulls all of the colors from the dress into its volcanic embrace. But the true star of this look is amazing pair of shoes elevating the already statuesque model to new heights.

Also in this outfit: Aim High Heels ($398), Transatlantic Bag ($228).
