Styled: The Homestead Off-The-Shoulder Top

Every so often it seems like the Anthropologie store Instagram feeds converge on one piece to showcase many different ways to style it. I was delighted when recently the Homestead Off-The-Shoulder Top ($88, runs TTS), which I purchased and adore, got the full court press.

To me, all these beautiful photos showcase just how great the in-store styling teams (under guidance from the equally talented home office personal shopping team) truly are! I’ve heard that right now if you come in for a personal shopping appointment, you can get $25 off your purchase. If you want to learn more about the personal shopping experience this post tells the tale.

How do Anthropologies around the country style this perfect cool weather top? Find out inside, then I’ll share a few of my styling ideas too.

Although I’m not a fan of the wide-legs with this top, I do like them! And I love the necklace they used here.

I had never noticed that cute little bag before! This look is very West Coast chic to me, laid back with a touch of cohesiveness.

If nothing else, this post should definitely be giving you accessory ideas for the top! It clearly works with jeans and long necklaces.

Hats work pretty well with this top too! It’s no wonder Anthropologie’s home office asked stores to focus on this top — it works so well with so many different accessories and coordinating outfit pieces.

Now you’re testing me Anthropologie! Although I would not choose overalls for myself, it’s hard to deny that this looks is pretty cute.

And crazy.

Anthropologie wants to make sure we know this top can work with jeans!

As we’ve now well established, the Homestead Off-The-Shoulder Top ($88, runs TTS) can be worn with jeans! With that said, here are a few more styling ideas…

top // skirt // booties // necklace (top) // necklace (bottom)

The top looks wonderfully cute over a skirt — I’m surprised none of the stores styled it that way! Add booties and a couple of cute necklaces and you’re ready for a fun day out and about.

top // leggings // vest // flats

Another easy look for the top is layering (in this case with a vest) over soft leggings with sparkly flats. This outfit has lots of subtle texture to it in a warm autumnal palette.

Here’s an option that plays around with the family of colors in the top, creating a simple yet cohesive look.

Do you own the Homestead Off-The-Shoulder Top ($88)? How are you styling it (or planning to style it)?
