Anthropologie’s Spring Fling extended one more day — through today!

Promising new arrivals like the Felisa Paperbag-Waisted Skirt (now $127) are 20% off through today!

Anthropologie has decided to extend its 20% off Spring Fling Weekend for one more day — hooray! This promotion has been fantastic for me, especially since we January birthdays can stack this promo online with the birthday discount!

During this promo, which ends overnight around midnight tonight, you can take 20% off full-price clothing and get Free Shipping on orders of $150+. No code required. I’m strongly leaning towards placing another order during this awesome deal.

Inside, what I’ve ordered and what is tempting me today…

The Quilted Cozy Coat (now $95) is so well-named, it had to be mine!

I’ve mostly been stocking up on Spring goodies with this sale, as well as a few transitional pieces. My order included the Quilted Cozy Coat (now $95, above) which is everything its name promises to be! I found it to run a little large so I sized down. I would have loved to try on the Felisa Paperbag-Waisted Skirt (now $127, top of post) before ordering it but unfortunately its an online exclusive so I had to guess on sizing…having Free Shipping included in this promo helps a lot!

Likely I’ll wear the skirt with the Silk Swing Cami (now $47), which I ordered in the evergreen color in my usual size medium. This cami is so elegant on and has tons of styling possibilities! I may also wear it with another skirt which I bought in-store, the Paige Isla Denim Skirt (now $136), which runs TTS and has a hint of stretch to it. It looks to be sold out online at this moment but may pop back — or I was surprised to find full size runs in 3 of the NYC Anthropologies! Clearly store inventory is still off. The skirt is also available directly via Paige’s website, and you can get $25 off of it by signing up for their email list which is in the bottom right corner of any page on Paige’s website.

Also in my Anthropologie order is the Faravel Moto Jacket (now $119) in black, which I’ve been adoring for months and though I already own in another color, this one seems so versatile too! I sized up in this one to a large as it runs a bit short and is also close-fitting across the chest. The knit material does loosen over the day however. I was very inspired to get this one from store Instagram photos, including this shot by the Disney Springs Anthropologie showing the jacket over the Zeri Peasant Dress (now $30). We’ll see if I can end up justifying giving this jacket space in my tiny closet (probably).

I’m tempted by multiple colors of the Ribbed Mockneck Tunic (now $55).

And then it’s on to the items I’m thinking of ordering on this last day of the promo…
1 | Practical and versatile for layering, the Ribbed Mockneck Tunic (now $55) seems like it will be a winner.
2 | I love the shoulder ruffle on the Ruffled Nobility Top (now $63)!
3 | The Frayed Tunic Dress (now $103) in light grey looks perfect for weekend activities, especially with the right waist-defining belt or coat over it.
4 | The more I look at the Gridway Crepe Shirtdress (now $111), the more I want it!
5 | If you are petite or short-waisted with a small bust, the Flutterwork Tee (now $55) might be perfect on you. It was way too short on me. It runs large in sizing.
6 | The so-cute Feltwork Top (now $119) is short and boxy, but also has styling opportunity thanks to its tuckability.
7 | Anthropologie has so many great coats right now, like the Cadre Military Jacket (now $103) and its brilliantly beautiful cuffs. I found this coat to run true to size.
8 | Another jacket winner that will really benefit you come Spring is the Pilcro Denim Jacket (now $111) — go for the regular length and skip the ridiculous cropped version.
9 | I bought the Moretta Sweater Dress (now $135) for Thanksgiving, but it’s been awesome for work paired with a sweater over it. Fits TTS.
10 | If I could justify one more denim skirt, it would absolutely be the Citizens of Humanity Liya Cutoff Denim Skirt (now $199).

What might tempt you on this last day of the promo?

Nothing temps me. It's still winter so no need for me to jump on spring items. I just purchased a bunch of winter stuff I have yet to wear! Plus the few things I like will all be on sale by the time they are wearable. Sales like this don't tempt me. At. All.
And FTR why is this sale called a Spring Fling? It's not spring. And the ” new-in” banner also confuses me. Doesn't make any sense.
    Happy Monday!

      I totally agree Stefanie.

I'm still looking forward to wearing my Anthro fall/winter purchases. Just today I'm getting around to wearing the “Fawn & Doe” pullover 🙂 and there are other items in my closet that are untouched! It'll be awhile before I buy anything (in-advance) for spring that's not amazeballs.

I hear you! I am very much enjoying my winter gear in…you know…winter!

As we know this isn't even Anthro's Spring collection, it's mostly resort with a few transitional items thrown in. I'm guessing the name of the promo is to plead with customers that no really, it's a new season now!

Either way, I'm enjoying this promo quite a bit but I do understand the other side of that coin, wanting to sit this one out.

Agree as well. I've hardly touched anything that I bought during the after Christmas/winter sales. Now is the time to sit back and enjoy them!

Roxy, you have some really cute picks.
Maybe it is the timing of the promo, but I'm not inspired to buy anything. It is still cold where I live with a few nice days starting to appear, but I know I won't be able to wear any spring clothes for another month, so I'm waiting to see what February will bring clothing wise. Maybe something more colorful, as all Anthro's clothes are very neutral right now.

Thanks Lori! And I totally get it. 🙂

Unrelated but… has anyone seen in stores the brown double buckle belt pictured with the gold pilcro chino pencil skirt? I'm thinking it's long gone but thought I'd ask. Thnx

You know…I kinda prefer how Madewell does their Spring roll out. You get a (real) first dibs email in Jan. that allows you to call and pre-order what you see in the online spring preview.
Then the items are shipped to you over the course of the next few months as they come into stock. Somehow I just love everything about that method even if I'm paying FP.

    • January 23, 2017 / 2:43 pm

I agree, Madewell does it beautifully.

I'm also a big fan of Nordstrom's semi-annual sale, where they put items for next season on sale so you can stock your closet in anticipation of things to come.

Boden does that too. It's so much fun to preorder and then wait for your goodies to trickle in. 🙂

And roxy, I too love, love love the Nordstrom semi-annual sale. Do they only do that in July, or 2x a year?

To help in your search, here's the product page… http://bit.ly/2kjODBo

It's called the Gaucho Double Buckle Belt. I can check the NYC stores today for you! I plan to visit them all between lunch break and after-work. 🙂

There is also a really similar new belt online: http://bit.ly/2jhz1kc

So happy for the extra day, because my size in the South Shore dress popped back this morning and I was able to snag it! Tried to be good and didn't add any extras to get free shipping… though the 10.95 sure hurt :/
Roxy, I totally missed in the last post that it was your bd weekend. Happy birthday and I hope you had a blast!

    • January 23, 2017 / 3:38 pm

Thank you! I really did…my family and boyfriend did an amazing job of making 35 feel special, and I'm celebrating with different groups of friends over the next few evenings. 🙂 This girl is feeling extra loved.

I'm a Jan birthday too (happy belated to you!) so I'm all geared up with discount + gift cards, but can't find anything I really love to spend it on…I think it's the spring theme that's throwing me off. Maybe if they'd had some kind of transitional moment. I feel like with all the shoulderless sweaters (?!) and slip dresses etc they kind of bypassed winter this year. Unfortunately for me, I live in the land of 6 months of subzero weather…

    • January 23, 2017 / 3:45 pm

Happy Birthday to you as well Soleil! I feel you; that was me last year. I never did end up using my birthday discount last year. I have heard that you can use it the month after for sure so if you're not seeing anything you love I would say don't force it; don't shop just to shop.

Hold onto it until you see something you really like and then find out if you can use it at that point. I feel that most SAs would say of course if you ask nicely. 🙂

Just to mention, I am still looking for the Calcados Heels by Vicenza in a 40/9. They are on sale. I've had two PS friends of mine hunting for me too and it appears all stores are sold out, but you never know, especially with the sharp eyes in this community!!

      Those are super cute heels!!

I bought the Pilcro denim jacket last season and actually had to return the size XSP for the XS because the body was too short (admittedly I'm long-torsoed for a petite). Definitely don't get a cropped version!

    • January 23, 2017 / 9:16 pm

Right?? The regular version is already short enough, I can't imagine anyone besides a child needing a shorter version!

      What are they thinking…

Those Vicenza heels are ?????????? I hope you feel me them!

Since they extended it another day, of course I had to buy an Embroidered Field Jacket today! The UPS guy just delivered a mountain of packages. I told him the sale is almost over and the endless stream of packages should stop soon lol.

Glad I am not the only one. My husband actually took a selfie once standing next to a pile of Anthropologie packages and texted me while I am at work. He told me to get professional help, which is an inside joke between us because he is a licensed psychologist. 🙂

        LOL 🙂

    • January 24, 2017 / 3:07 am

Ha! I've gotten to know my UPS guy very well at my last few apartments for similar reasons. It doesn't help that one order might come in 5 different boxes!

I agree with the others!! I'm in California where we are normally sunny, but the storm has brought rain all week plus hail today!! I can't even think about warm spring clothes when winter is still here. I slightly think that the promo is because this wave is so unappealing that they need to offer a discount off the full price in order to sell it

  14. January 23, 2017 / 11:06 pm

    Hooray!

  15. Smoores
    January 24, 2017 / 4:34 am

Is the 20% off still applicable? The prices are not reflecting the discount.

    January 24, 2017 / 1:24 am

I think they ended the 20% off new items at midnight PST along with the free shipping. There are new sale items added now though.
