Anon@5:18 Usually stores hold stuff for 24 hours. Some stores won't hold sale items though. I think it was mentioned in the comments of another thread that the discount would be the same 40-50%

I was in NY this weekend and at Rockefeller and all the Florid Facade blouses were off the floor and in the back only. I'm presuming this means it will go on sale…
@Kim — I hope your tip re: the Cartography Cardi is right b/c I bought one in hopes of it being on sale this week :)!! Also picked up a Roaming Frills Cardi for the same reason, lol. As long as one of those is on sale I'll feel good b/c I returned a bunch of full priced stuff anyway :). I have another 6-7 items on my list that I'd have a hard time passing up…like the Rushing Ruffles dress or the Breeze Along cami. *sigh* Needless to say I'll be staking out the sale both online and making a stop at my local Anthro tomorrow morning. I'm hopeless!
Sarah – that actually doesn't necessarily indicate a sale. If an item is pulled off the floor and in the back, it's called backstock – they do this a lot with older merch when new things come in and they run out of room on the floor.

Does anyone know what's wrong with the Blurred Boundaries Dress? There were several available online (found them by clicking on the picture on the catalog), then they all disappeared at once and it shows that it's out of stock on my wishlist. When I call CS, they say it's on stock, they order it for me and before they can complete the order, they say that there is a recall (dress recall? Is it a Toyota??) and the dress is nowhere to be found. Has anyone seen this dress sz 10 or 12 in a store? Misterious dress!!

@Marcela — Not sure about that dress in particular but Anthro "recalled" the Alena skirt for no discernible reason a few months ago right when it went on sale (pulled all inventory offline, noted the recall in the system for CS) and then released them for sale again like, a week or two later? It was really weird and never really explained. They were still being sold stores during their so-called recall so I picked mine up in a B&M and have had no issues with it. You may want to wait a little bit and see if it doesn't pop up again online, or just see if you can buy it from a store, either in person or via charge send.
I know this question gets asked fairly frequently, but this is the first time that I've ever possibly been eligible for a PA since I just bought a couple of older items full-price less than two weeks ago. How long exactly do you have to get a PA? Does anyone know if it's two weeks from the date you purchased or two weeks from the shipped date?
Also looking for the Cartography Cardigan! If anyone sees it in a medium or large could you put it on hold for me?Thank you!
I was just at my local Anthro, and from what I saw on their sale racks that were already out, the markdowns are the standard amounts…the SA let me purchase the Bougainvillea Cardigan for the $69.95 price today, though, so I was pretty thrilled about that. Thought I'd have to wait until tomorrow!

Ok just came back from anthro and I saw the following items all grouped together on rolling racks near fitting room/stock room. They were hung on the same racks as the items that readers have spotted being marked down. They were also grouped with tables of home items that looked like typical tag sale tables. Looked like they were getting ready to be marked down. Just got back from scoping out the sales rack at my local store and I have to say I was hugely disappointed 🙁 It definitely didn't seem like a bigger/more exciting sale than usual. I asked the SAs if maybe they'd put some other items out later but they said no.I hope you all fare better than I did though and get all the things on your wishlists!

It is just a way for Anthro stores to clear out all that older sale stuff before inventory- to make it a lil smoother. It is such an unusual sale becuse it will be home, accessories, and clothing. Also, some stores got shipped some older sale stuff that they might have not had.

Just came back from one of my local stores and the Today Tomorrow skirt is on the sale rack. So all of you ladies that wanted it during the last sale…now's your chance!

Re: Florid Facade BlouseAnthro just restocked the blue version of the blouse online in all sizes last week. All of the sizes seem to have at least 100+ in stock as well so it seems pretty unlikely that it'll go on sale tomorrow. I had bought one of the last XS in the Ivory last Tuesday & I was really hoping for a PA on this one 😛

I have the Florid Facade and I thought it was true to size.If you're ordering it, get the SA to look over it. It's very delicate, and I've seen some with holes from ladies' jewelries where it snagged the fabric.

Jinii-I've returned without the bag before. The SA had no problem doing the return she just had to look up the SKU in order to make a tag for it.

@ Jinii,I used to return online purchases without bags all the time before I realized the relationship between the two. It was never a problem since I always had my packing list as well. Of course the SAs are very appreciative (read: relieved) when I bring in the bag, too.

Jinii – I wouldn't worry too much about the bags. Unless you've got a multiple item return, where you are returning only part of a big order, and have each and every item in the correct bag – the packing list is much more helpful :). A savvy enough SA can use it to pull up your entire order on the screen, with the correct item numbers, descriptions, and pictures to go along with it :).

Haha, I highly doubt she "forgot". It takes a lot of time, and I think she wrote somewhere that she would update around 10pm central time. It's only 9pm on the west coast. Be patient.

omg, if the Air Mail Skirt doesn't finally go on sale, I think my head will explode. It's waaaaay at the bottom of my 150+ item wishlist because it's been there FOREVER. Well, I think the Bougainvillea Cardi has been on there a little longer, I think it's the absolute oldest item on my list (besides stuff that's already sold out that I'm stalking for popbacks). @KimSiomkos: the total when you order remains the same, but the gift card payment will be applied first when the order is processed. If there's any remaining due then they'll use the credit card you supplied to cover the rest.

Question about PAs — unfortunately the Cartography Cardi isn't marked down online though it seems from the tips it may be marked down in store? If it happens to be marked down in a store in my area, can I get a PA based on the in store price? Or does PA only apply based on the online price?In the meantime I picked up the Sailing Hobbyist skirt, Flipside Blazer, Covered in Cables Cardi and a Snakebite Belt in grey, which I wanted to get anyway sale or no sale. Feeling pretty good about my haul since they're versatile pieces that fill in some major holes in my closet :). And after shopping nearly every sale the past two months I'm officially putting myself on a ban for the next two months :p. Good thing there isn't anything I really want in the latest collections :p
And to clarify my above question, I bought my Cartography Cardi in-store, which is why I'm hoping a PA would fly if my store is discounting even if online isn't!

OT, but it looks like the Florid Facade Blouse now comes in 2 additional colors: a dark moss green & a white w/ white embroidery(diff. from the orig. creme color).
fyi–cleveland's store has a navy reed shirtdress size 10. however, it has a small tear in the sleeve and its missing a button around the waist (which would be hidden by a belt anyway). it was only $29.95. i definitely would have bought had it been my size.
