What I’m Loving at Anthropologie right now

The Grace Top ($78) is light and airy with the right kind of movement.

NOTE: On March 12, 2017, Effortlessly with Roxy will be migrating to a new URL. Please update your bookmarks to http://effortlesslywithroxy.com (which already works if you want to start using it now!).

After that date, http://effortlessanthropologie.blogspot.com will no longer work.

Hunting down the preppy feminine and boho chic items I love at Anthropologie may not be as easy as it used to be, but there are still delights in the new arrivals awaiting those who search for them! I discovered the Grace Top ($78, above) in mint recently and I can’t wait to buy it the next time there is a Free Shipping promo!

Inside, what I’m loving at Anthro right now…

Easy and fresh, I’m ready for more pieces like the Leanna Tie-Front Skirt ($118).

I’m noticing recently that items in-store are showing much better than on the website — I’m discovering items while visiting my NYC Anthro stores and then getting home, looking them up on the website, and going, “Oh! That’s that???” So even if some of the items in my roundup below don’t look as good as they should in the product shot, I encourage you to give them a shot anyway.

How’s that for a ringing endorsement of the website?

Here’s what I’m loving right now:
1 | The Strappy V-Neck Blouse ($88) came to Costa Rica with me and I wore it nearly every day. Although it is sheer, in the summery beachy time (and even around NYC) I can imagine wearing a lacy bra underneath and embracing that translucence. I found this top to run a little smaller than Cloth & Stone normally does — my medium is very close-fitting.
2 | Another Cloth & Stone vacation winner for me that will do well at home too is the Lazuli Halter Dress ($118).  It’s so incredibly soft, lightweight and though it looks like a sack on the hanger I was very pleased by how it draped on my body, giving a hint of my hourglass underneath. This dress runs so big!! I ended up going all the way down to a small to buy, and if my chest was smaller I would have gone for an x-small. OOTD of this one coming up on my Instagram in the next few days.
3 | I am obsessed with the pretty Flora Nikrooz robes. My favorite is probably the Leslie Robe ($88), followed by the Paige Robe ($88), followed by the Genevieve Kimono ($88). I can’t pick just one!!
4 | I picked up Maeve’s Waverly Shimmer Top ($118) on a whim before leaving on vacation, and I’m so glad I did! The Flatiron Anthropologie store (NYC) showed it layered under the Cropped Balloon-Sleeve Pullover ($98) which is a great way to wear it to work, though I’m thinking that it would be much more fun with a sleek skirt for dates.
5 | Weekend thoughts come to mind with the Washed Layering Slip Dress ($78) which has a great high neckline and lots of fun strappy details in back. It clearly looks great with a denim jacket!
6 | Speaking of which, I mentioned it already last week but the Elizabeth Denim Jacket ($178) is seriously cute.
7 | Even if you’re tired of off-the-shoulder, you have to admit the Cerise Open-Shoulder Blouse ($88) is pretty cute!
8 | I love the mix of stripes and lace on the Lace-Mix Dress ($128). I just wish it had as much waist definition and it does when the model puts her hands there!
9 | I’m thinking the Alice Asymmetrical Slip ($68) will be an ideal layering piece for Spring outfits.
10 | Ditto the Jill Slip Dress ($138).
11 | I never met a pair of destroyed denim shorts I didn’t love (though I draw the line at paint splatter craziness!!) and the Pilcro Hyphen Denim Roll-Up Shorts ($78) seem right up my alley.
12 | The Songbird Peasant Top ($148) has a bit of that ol’ Anthro magic.
13 | The blue Ruffled Poplin Blouse ($58) is so stunning! I can’t wait to wear it when the weather warms up. Also nice? The price is not totally obnoxious!
14 | Another vacation staple for me were the Wanderer Rolled-Hem Shorts ($68). They stretch out over the day which is lame but I loved the length and they were so comfy for a variety of activities…most of which involved lazing around the pool. =)
15 | I am loving my Citizens of Humanity Liya Cutoff Denim Skirt ($248) ever more each day. If you have an hourglass or pear shape, this skirt is ideal.

One item I need help with: the Leopard & Lillies Dress ($198). Do I love this or hate this? Am I intrigued or repulsed? I honestly cannot tell right now.

What Anthropologie items are you loving right now?
