Investigating Anthropologie’s new arrivals

Ready to jet away to somewhere that the Buttercup Eyelet Dress ($148) would be weather-appropriate!

Most of Anthropologie’s new arrivals have me scratching my head it’s true, but there are as always some gems to be found amid a turbulent sea of 70s schlock. From pieces like the Buttercup Eyelet Dress ($148, above) that have me thinking of vacation to more practical items like the Alves Wool Pullover ($138), my wishlist is slowly being repopulated with new items I might use my birthday discount on this month…

The York Midi Slip Dress ($158) has cute finishing details and can be layered under or over.

Here are some of my favorite new arrivals:
1 | The Striped Cashmere Top ($298) in sky could work for anything from the office to just lounging around the house.
2 | I’m in love with the simple, slightly imperfect roundness of the Abelia Dinnerware Set ($12-$20).
3 | And how cute is the Tea For One Set ($34)? You really can’t go wrong with a giraffe with a pineapple on its head.
4 | I wish the Paulina Scalloped Top ($68) came in more than just ivory or black, but the top is very cute.
5 | The Classic High-Low Cardigan ($128) looks perfect for those days when I can’t shake the chills.
6 | The Toute V-Neck Dress ($158) is already highly rated on Anthropologie’s site! It looks so easy to wear and I am imagining the wide variety of jackets that could top it to completely change the feel of the look…
7 | The popular Itinerary Bomber ($128) now comes in a few new colors, like a yummy dark grey that looks purple online…? Purplish?
8 | When does one need a tank top style sweater? Perhaps for an extra hot day in the office? However, whatever, the Charlene Sleeveless Top ($98) is on my wishlist!
9 | The Layered Victorian Dress ($168) has an intriguing work-readiness to it, but it’s those pumps I really want to know more about! Come on Anthropologie…get them online!
10 | I love the idea of bringing the outside in via the Tree Knots Planter ($14-$18), but apparently the warehouse keeps getting it mixed up with the Tree Trunk Planter ($32-$48). Apparently it’s in-stock at two NYC stores so we shall see which planter they actually have! I’ll report back on my Instagram!
11 | Everything about the Lucinda Silk Blouse ($295) works for me, from the ruffles to the colors to the print.
12 | Not sure how Anthropologie chose the name, but the Rust Garden Skirt ($118) looks beautiful despite its odd name.
13 | Another skirt I’m intrigued by is the Felisa Paperbag-Waisted Skirt ($158), and perhaps the sweater shown with it too.
14 | The Guilhermina Studded Smoking Loafers (now $90) might be one of the cutest new shoes Anthropologie has, and it’s 30% off right now! (More 30% off shoes here.)
15 | The Centerfold Backpack ($148) is yummy, yummy, extra yummy leather.

I’ve also been impressed by Anthropologie’s coat collection (post here). And of course the Tag Sale is still ongoing with an extra 40% off sale (latest update here). What Anthropologie items are tempting you right now?
