Anthropologie unveils first dibs on fall with its September preview!!

Update: the First Dibs page link is no longer working for some reason, not here nor in Anthropologie’s email. However, the product page links inside this post ARE still working!

September may not officially arrive until next week but that has not stopped Anthropologie from teasing us with some of the goodies we can expect to delight in for fall! They’ve just launched their September First Dibs page, and to sweeten the pot a bit, Anthro is also offering FREE SHIPPING with no minimum by using the code SUNNYSKIES at checkout. That same code also still works to take an extra 20% off sale items.

Inside, all that’s good…

I don’t want to put too much pressure on Anthropologie but typically their August, September and October catalogues are my favorites of the year. I love layering (as you know), I love fall, I love longer, warmer clothing!! I have high expectations of Anthro’s fall offerings. It looks like the September catalogue was shot in Paris…always a good choice.

From this first dibs page it seems as though I will not be disappointed. Among my favorite items are the Salta Cowl Vest ($118) — and I like the McGuire Academy Skirt ($199) it’s paired with; the Transverse Poncho ($148) which is one of the rare 70s vibe pieces I can get on board with; the Reeve Pullover ($138) by Peter Som (yay!!!).

And then there are the coats. Oh. My. Goodness!!! The Florilege Coat ($248) is one of those pieces I expect to fly out of stock; the Colorblocked Trench Coat ($168) is a good spin on the classic trench; the Chelan Wrap Coat ($228) is yummy in both colors.

The beautiful Florilege Coat ($248) — yasssss!!

Boot lovers have some good options in the Lien.Do Toro Lace-Back Boots ($358), the Splendid Delora Mid-Boots ($228) and the Splendid Tandie Wedges ($168) among others, and I’m sure there are plenty more boots to come.

I’m totally in love with the impractical yet beautiful Serpiente Bucket Bag ($378), not to mention the awesomely ‘ferned’ Fern Moss Tote ($168) and the yummy-looking leather of the Benah by Karen Walker Ellinor Hobo Bag ($418).

Oh — and there are hats, scarves and the first faux fur cowl of the season! Summer, don’t you race away…but fall, I can’t wait to see you either.

What do you think of this month’s First Dibs page? I’ve also detailed some non-first dibs new arrivals I loved in the free shipping post from earlier this morning — be sure to check that out too.
