Nine Nordstrom Anniversary Sale items you might have missed, plus Nordstrom Rack alternatives!

Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is finally open to the general shopping public and as promised in my cardholder preview post, I’m back to hunting it with some more great options for the Fall and beyond. (Possibly before too!)

This time around, let’s check out some items you might have glossed right over in your sale excitement…plus, if your budget is stretched pretty thin but you still want in, I’ve found less expensive alternatives for these already great deals at Nordstrom Rack too!

Inside, deals deals deals…

1. & 2. Natori Feathers Underwire Contour Bra (now $45) & Panties (now $20)
// Fits TTS, I purchased a 32DD & medium in the hipsters
I’ve raved about Natori before — I own the t-back version of this bra in several colors and decided to supplement those with a couple bras in this version. They are very comfortable, the hipsters are too!
Or check out these options from Nordstrom Rack: The same contour cut in slightly different looks 1 // 2 // 3 and these similar briefs.

3. Rebecca Minkoff ‘Line Quilted Julian’ Backpack (now $217)
// One size — see it on a model here
I’m having a serious shopping dilemma (aka not serious to life at all) deciding which color of this bag I want to invest in. The stylist in me wants the white; the practical me realizes the port might be a better fit for dirty NYC life.
Or check out these options from Nordstrom Rack: A similar look in cheaper leather; smaller and almost as chic; the active urban option.

4. Vince Camuto ‘Pazell’ Tall Boot (now $157)
// Size up 1/2 a size — I took a 9.5 instead of a 9
First the bad news — although these are labelled as ‘wide calf’ online they’re really not, coming in at only 16 inches around. But if that sizing works for you these boots feel great on and I love the multiple strap detailing that doesn’t feel too grrrrr like some boots do. (sidenote: If you purchase these or any tall boots at a Vince Camuto store, they will stretch the calf for you. I’m just not sure this style will stretch well with its side zip.)
Or check out these options from Nordstrom Rack: Very similar idea; another close execution.

5. Kate Spade ‘Cedar Street – Monday’ Crossbody Bag (now $99)
// One size — see it on a model on the product page
I love these envelope crossbody bags — Banana Republic has a nice one too that’s in-store only — and this pink color is just lovely! For under $100 it could be an everyday staple bag for me, easily.
Or check out these options from Nordstrom Rack: This bag isn’t quite as chic but it does open up in a very cool way…there’s just one of the pink coral color left!!

6. Kork-Ease ‘Olson’ Harness Boot (now $200)
// Runs TTS (a 9 for me)
I like my tall boots with a little something extra, some small detail that sets them apart. These boots are C-O-M-F-Y. Love the thicker stacked heel and the angle of the footbed which somehow makes it feel like you’re walking in flat boots even though these have 3-inch heels.
Or check out these options from Nordstrom Rack: These probably look familiar Anthro fans; these are also great but in all honesty they’re more expensive than the Kork-Ease boots from the Anniversary Sale (but it’s a good price for Frye so…).

7., 8. & 9. One skirt three ways featuring the Chelsea28 A-Line Pocket Skirt (now $45)
// Runs TTS (a medium for me) but is short!
This was one of my first purchases during the cardholder sale preview and I’m very happy with it. Could you find a similar skirt somewhere else for less? Possibly, but I really like how Nordies handled the front pocket detailing on this and the flare angle is perfect on my body, which is harder to achieve in a skirt than you might think. It’s ridiculously short though so I will only be wearing this with tights underneath. You can see the complete outfit from 7 here, 8 here and 9 here.
Or check out these options from Nordstrom Rack: It’s hard to beat the price of this skirt! I found this similar option which is also white but longer with a fun pleated hem, and less expensive. Whew!
