Back in June Anthropologie offered various Free Shipping, flat rate shipping and so on promotions for people visiting its website. Those tests are back and the community is reporting that some of us are seeing Free Shipping! But not everyone…
To see if you have free shipping or not you’ll need to log into your anthropologie.com account. This is important because an offer may appear when you first go to Anthro’s site but then disappear when you log in. (Fun, I know.)
I was waiting to mention this test in part because many people are reporting issues with the website checkout right now. I’m hopeful that Anthropologie is working on this, or that the issues clear up as people’s cookies update.
Here’s what community members are reporting seeing as of now:
Free Shipping on orders of $175+
Free Shipping on orders of $150+
Flat rate $5 shipping on ANY order
NO promotion (this is what I’m seeing)
Do you see a promotion for free or flat-rate shipping? If so, what is it? I’m not sure if this is USA only or if Canadians are seeing similar tests.
I wish Anthropologie would choose one of these shipping promos and make it permanent. I thought they would after June’s tests but I guess they’re still figuring things out. It seems like every other retailer at this price point has free shipping…so what is Anthropologie waiting for? And if they do move to free shipping, will we see price increases of $2-$5 on every item to help make up the gap?
