For the first time ever, Anthropologie will be participating in Black Friday 2011! To help the community prepare this will serve as tonight’s open thread (another will open tomorrow morning). Share tips, tricks, and wishlists here while we all eagerly wait for the online sale to start and doors to open. I’ll try to answer questions as I can but like most of you I’m sure I’m entertaining guests tonight.

Some quick notes:
– Anthropologie’s Black Friday promotion is 50% off most sale items from 6 AM to 11 AM
– NOT ALL STORES will open at 6 AM. Check your store’s hours here.
– Official word is that the online promotion runs from 6 AM to 11 AM “local time.”
– Unofficial word is that the online sale will work from 6 AM ET to 2 PM ET for EVERYONE
– Anthropologie WILL NOT honor PAs during the 50% off sale promotion
– Stores will likely leave their phones off the hook during the Black Friday sale hours
– Stores WILL NOT hold items during the Black Friday sale hours
– After the Black Friday sale is over, sale items return to 25% off their marked price through Sunday
