Calling all college and high school students! Looking for an internship? Are you a fashion fan? Is Anthropologie one of of your favorite brands? If your answers are all yes, read on.
Effortless Anthropologie is looking for 1-2 interns to help bring the good word of the flowy to the community. Ideally I’m looking for people who are available from now until May but there is flexibility. As an intern, you’ll do research, take/edit photos, create posts, and write reaction pieces to relevant news. Interns will be responsible for 1 or 2 posts per week. I use tools like Polyvore, Shopstyle, Google/Bing, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram, Photoshop, Picnik and of course Blogger to create posts so knowledge or expertise with these programs is a bonus. You don’t have to be a CSS or HTML expert but you should know the basics of good website coding. Strong coding skills are a plus! Applicants will be asked to create one sample post so I can vet your skillset.
Interns must be eligible for course credit. Interns do not have to be located in the NYC area but you should have access to an instant messenger tool like gchat, AIM or similar. Preference will be given to applicants near an Anthropologie store. Your major does not have to be fashion-related but should be relevant to this internship, i.e. marketing, business, journalism, fashion, computer science, and the like. The internship is ideal for people interested in social media.
