It was just any other Friday until about 3 PM today. I was taking a mental break, checking my email and such. And what do I see on Twitter?
An announcement that Effortless Anthropologie won Polyvore’s Fall Wardrobe Styling Challenge.
Cue me standing up at my desk, dancing in place and screaming! I freaked out our poor engineering team; I’d been having issues earlier in the day with a project and they thought I’d finally cracked. After I calmed down enough to respond to all the stares directed at me from coworkers it was a party in the back of my office. (I love my work.)
Effortless Anthro is not alone in winning — Polyvore ended up picking two winning blogs. The other winner is nookie of Fashion in My Eyes. Congrats, nookie!
AND there’s more. One lucky Effortless Anthropologie Fall Wardrobe Styling Challenge participant will ALSO be winning $1,000. I will select a winner this weekend (sorry to keep y’all in suspense but I have Jew dues to pay tonight). AND as promised I will be keeping $500 of my own prize money for myself and giving the other half back to some lucky member of the community through a contest. Stay tuned for that. I will need some help deciding on what to buy. Post on that upcoming!
