A couple of un-fun technical notes to kick off this post. First, I am (sadly) aware that the Shopstyle links are currently sending everyone to product images instead of product pages. This is not me — it’s something wrong on Shopstyle’s end and every Anthro blogger who uses them is going through the same thing. The good news is that I’ve been in regular contact with their tech team over the past two weeks and they are working on the issue. Unfortunately they have not been able to fix the issue as of yet…if it is not fixed in time for tomorrow’s sale post I will swap in different links instead. For those that don’t know the Shopstyle links are how I earn revenue from this blog and they are critically important to me. As most of you know I have a full-time job on top of this blog and the revenue from Shopstyle pays for the blog to run. I apologize for the inconvenience but unfortunately there’s nothing I can do except whimper in pain. Update 9:50 PM — Shopstyle links are working again!!!
Secondly, IntenseDebate is still a work in progress. Unlike Shopstyle’s tech team, IntenseDebate has been woefully uncommunicative with me and while I hope they’re working on the issues we’re experiencing, I’m not really sure. I like the system enough to stick with it at this point but it’s been no fun reading about the issues you’ve had. It pains me. If I could fix the code myself I would but it’s beyond my pay grade. It weighs on me daily though and I’m poking their team as much as I can to get answers. Thank you for your patience while I work all this technical stuff out.
With that over and out, let’s chat sale, shall we? Over the past couple of weeks I have come to realize that I need the Moscow-in-Bloom Blouse ($98) blouse in my life…on sale. So it would behoove Anthropologie to shuffle this pretty top already so I can live out my dreams in brilliant yellow. I am also still waiting for the Gentle Loop Necklace ($168) to go on sale. At this rate it will probably happen in November, but hey, I’m stubborn. I’ll wait..
