Oh ladies. This week promises to be a good one in markdownland. I have my fingers crossed for the Yardarm Tee ($58), the There-She-Goes Vest ($68), the Gentle Loop Necklace ($168) and the Rift Valley Shorts ($98). I would wish for more but that’s about all the fingers I can cross! Will Anthropologie continue to tease with just a few markdowns or will this week be the fireworks we thought were coming last week? We shall see. Several community members have already given preview members from their stores; their list at the bottom of this post. Kim from Anthroholic has a preview list up here. I’ll have the full list up once the sale items appear on Anthro’s website.

I was at the store this AM and the mgr. was moving around at the speed of light pulling things and walking around with her head buried in what appeared to be markdown sheets. The store was crowded, so I couldn't get a real good look at what was going on. This community is awesome! Between all the followers chiming in and Roxy and Kim doing their detective work, I get so excited for Tuesday morning! Who would have thought!?!

I'm really confident/hopeful about the Keeping Tabs tee. My daughter loves it and *really* wanted it for her 12th birthday yesterday. I broke down and bought it for her Saturday, assuming a price adjustment — primarily because every time I'd ask about it the SAs would say something like, "Oh, is that still on the floor?" One store even went with me to the sale room to look for it before figuring out it wasn't marked down just yet.
Ooooh Picture Frame blouse, please please please, Anthro! I am dying for both colours and shouldn't buy them both unless I get a sale!

Is it wrong that I don't want a sale?? My wallet might cry if anything I really want goes on sale. Actually, that's not true. I'd be thrilled if the Florid Facade top went on sale. I bought one about a month ago, and loved it, but the button popped off on it's third wear. After going to my store and even contacting CS, they told me to return it because the shirts didn't come with spare buttons. The only other one my store had in my size was also missing a button, so I used the money from that return towards the sugar and cream dress.Long story short, FLORID FACADE TOP, PLEASE GO ON SALE!

One of the SAs told me that these items would be on sale tomorrow online. The Aniseed skirt was still not on sale (ugh) and the Drifting by Dress was still regular price. Which reminds me, Roxy, the Herb Field Cardigan was on sale too, for 49.95. They had one XS, a couple of Smalls, and a couple of Larges. Also, I returned a medium Tecolote tank, if anyone was looking for one.

@A@9:12: Sale room was decently filled. They took some of the stuff they had on the sales rack in the fitting room and put them in sales room. If you know what you want, it's worth a look to see what they have.I returned the Night Flora sandals in a size 9. I bought a 8.5 and a 9 since I was unsure of the sizing. They are $60. SA's at the store are the nicest. I go to Princeton store occasionally and this past Saturday they didn't have much.BTW: If anyone is still looking for the Dissolved Spectrum cardi that is sold out on line, Princeton, NJ store has some.Bronzi
I am feeling somewhat shopped out as well — I always do this time of year with all the killer sales sprouting up everywhere. Although if some choice shoes went on sale, that might perk me up! lolonly clothing items i'd be tempted by are the poured paint tank and buoyant bunches (?) cardi, and maybe shorts or cropped pants if they are long enough.

I just called Customer Service about the Blooming Lattice Cardi in Green. They offered to do a charge send at the sale price and I would know within 72 hours if they found one for me. Usually customer gives me the names of stores who have the item in stock and then I call and take care of the charge send. Doing it this way makes me really nervous! Especially since I know this item will sell out quickly. I would just like to know if I will have it or not… Has others had luck with this method? I have the navy version and wear it a ton, so I would love to add the green to my collection :).

The Houston Westheimer store had lots of green Blooming Lattice Cardis today, didn't check for the navy. They were hidden behind another top on the regular floor, but the store didn't have any of the new markdowns out as of around 4:30 CT.I myself am looking for a green Friendly Competition Top in a 4. @Ashley…I have had luck with CS charge send but I have always done that with a non sale item. For things that I worry about selling out I get the store numbers and do the leg work myself so I know I get it. If it was me I would call CS and get store numbers for the cardigan. Just my 2 cents.

hey MJ…i was at the 5th ave, nyc store not too long before closing and they had a small stack of both navy and green blooming lattices..i snagged a small in both colors and i'm pretty sure i saw a large in the green tho' didn't get a close enough look at the blues…worth a phone call in the AM though! good luck!
