What oh what will this week hold? There were a considerable amount of markdowns last week but I am hoping for more this week. I’ve had my eye on a few items for months! In particular I’m dying to see the Field Game Cardigan ($118) and the Percussive Cardigan ($78) just get marked down already. Both items came out in early January. Will Anthropologie feel generous with the holiday weekend almost here? We shall see. Kim from Anthroholic has the preliminary list up here.

If the field game cardigan goes on sale, here's hoping the new gray colorway is included! It's the only way I can convince myself it's ok to have it in two colors 🙂

Ooh, is the Traced Twirls really coming out in a blue polka-dot colorway? The original pattern didn't do anything for me, but polka dots sounds fabulous, it would suit the swingy, retro silhouette so well.Using my Anthro-fu, I poked around and found this baby blue version on the website, but it doens't look like it has polka dots on it –http://images.anthropologie.com/is/image/Anthropologie/033018_040_b?$redesign-openLarger$But it's hard to tell. I am so excited. I was lusting after the Sea Ribbons necklace and it was $278. I couldn't pull the trigger. It got marked down and I still couldn't do it. I happened to have noticed that it was on my wish list at $59.95 and contacted CS who told me which stores had it. I am sooooo psyched and it is on it's way to me. Just needed to share!

Oh no!!!I was hoping the Field Game Cardigan would wait for my birthday to go on sale. Coupled with the fact that my birthday is in December and it's such a pretty holiday sweater, that'd give me plenty of time to save the 60-70 bucks for it. I'm happy for y'all though; snap up this beauty if you're on the fence, it's currently my number 2 wishlist item (was number 1 until Sugar and Cream dress came out and I fell head over heels in love) All the same, please please please don't sell out until I have the funds for you, pretty sweater! I was just in the Highland Park, Illinois store and the field game cardigan was already marked down to $70 or $80, if I remember correctly. They had the grey in all sizes I think and the navy in smaller stock. I did not see any red. That was at 4 pm central time.missy

Roxy, I think I have a tip that may be useful. Before ordering an item you know for sure that will be on sale, call CS on Monday late in the evening and ask the price of the item you want. I did that once and the price was reduced already. When I read here that the Field Game will be on sale tomorrow, I called at 5pm (8 pm for you ) and CS said that it was half of the price that it is showing online. My order will come with the sale price already, no PA will be necessary.

Rockefeller all the way — they have some of the new shoes out already and I was swooning! Plus their sale is generally well-stocked. I would recommend hitting it on a weekday if you can though; the weekends are tourist city right now. If you happen to find the red Field Game locally in your calls tomorrow would you mind reporting back? I'm going to help a friend stalk it. 🙂

Roxy & Anjali – sorry for the late response! Thanks ladies1 It really is amazing dress – emphasizes my size 2-4 waist, and hides my size 6 booty ;). And I *WAS* going to say, not from personal experience obviously, but given that the bust is elasticized, I'm sure it would be forgiving to larger busts. BUT, I'm sure that's obvious from Roxy's pic – it looks FANTASTIC on you!

Annie:I would go with S 'cause it is TTS or whatever size you usually wear in Anthro cardigan. I'm usually 4/6 and I like M on me because it is loose enough for me to layer thin long sleeve shirt or wear it with short sleeve without being too tight/loose.

I normally wear Size 6/Small on top. I already have the navy Field Game in Small. I like my cardigans fitted. The cardigan is fitted, but very stretchy. You might want to consider XS if you are more of a 2 and like fitted look. If 4 and/or looser, then Small. Medium is going to be too large for you.

i was wondering if anyone was having problems receiving free shipping of an item that is no longer available online?i tried to get the crow's nest top size 0 (bc it was sold out online) sent to my house and the SA said they would charge my 6.95 on shipping.
