Guest post: Outfits by Sarah

(Note from roxy: Please welcome Sarah to the guest post roster! She has some lovely summer outfit ideas to share with us today.)

A little about me: My name is Sarah and I am a student in my senior year of college from Texas. I am from Austin originally but have since moved out and currently reside nowhere near an actual Anthropologie store, sadly. I write a blog called La Lovely, it is mainly a personal blog where I post about things that inspire me, my outfits, and life in general. Now onto the post!

Today I am bringing you some of my styling options composed of entirely Anthropologie items because who wouldn’t want an entire closet full of Anthropologie?

This is a great look if you are going for something casual yet stylish for the hot summer months. The colors aren’t too funky but they still play off of each other and add some interest when combined with the pretty details of the top and jewelry. I’d really like something like this for site seeing in which case you could trade out the wedges for a more walking friendly option such as the Great Crossing Sandals ($98).

In this outfit:
Top: Magnolia Blouse ($228)
Shorts: Rift Valley Shorts ($98)
Bag: Scarlet Macaw Bag ($388)
Shoes: Big Sky Wedges ($178)
Bracelet: Macro Charm Bracelet ($42)
Earrings: Filament Wing Earrings ($28)
Sunglasses: Prescient Pilot Sunglasses ($28)

This next outfit would be perfect for a date night! It is fun and it plays with patterns. The black and white motif pops up throughout the outfit and it offset by a splash of coral in the dress which is repeated in both the necklace, the clutch, and the cardigan. If you are feeling brave or just want an extra punch of drama then try adding the polka dotted flower brooch. Or try wrapping the necklace around your wrist if you prefer a bracelet.

In this outfit:
Cardigan: Imelda Cardigan ($98)
Dress: Oratory Dress ($98)
Earrings: Reed Orchid Posts ($28)
Necklace: Strawberry Lemonade Necklace ($38)
Shoes: Grevy’s Wedges ($158)
Clutch: Gleeful Speed Clutch ($162)
Brooch: From a Seed Clip ($18)

This last outfit is another casual, maybe even a bit beach-y look. I like the look because it pairs a very girly, feminine top with a pair of boyfriend shorts. The shoes ground the outfit with their color and structure and the bracelet adds a but of glam. I am never without a jacket or cardigan just in case I get cold (movie theaters, restaurants, etc.). Sunglasses are a must in the summer and this wayfarer-esque style adds a little more interest. I included two bags for taste. The top one is a more neutral while the second is more playful especially against the yellow of the top.

In this outfit:
Top: Midday Garden Top ($68)
Jacket: Lift-Off Jacket ($118)
Bag (top): Doctor’s Orders Bag ($468)
Bag (bottom): Lush & Wild Tote ($68)
Bracelet: Willy-Nilly Bracelets ($58)
Shoes: Great Crossing Sandals ($98)
Shorts: Level 99 Boyfriend Shorts ($68)
Sunglasses: Caroline Sunglasses ($28)

And that’s it! Thanks to Roxy for giving me the opportunity to guest post at one of my favorite blogs. Thank you all for reading and I hope that you enjoyed the outfits!
