Some more Anthropologie survey goodness

Before we get to the survey goodness I want to mention that the incomparable, fabulous, and all-around awesome Chloe is doing a $100 Shopbop gift card giveaway on See Chloe Shop! Does Chloe styling time come with this prize?? Lovely giveaway.

Thanks to Alexandra, Amber and Samantha who forwarded along the latest round of Anthropologie surveys to share! This time around Anthropologie is focusing on cardigans. I find the opening note kind of cute (click the image above to zoom), especially since it implies that cold is done. Not this week! Especially if you live in Colorado. Or the southern hemisphere. But I’m being way too picky.

There are actually two similar emails that went out with slightly different choices (second set below). And as astute commenters have pointed out previously some of the choices are items that are currently or previously available. I guess this is Anthropologie’s way of vindicating themselves? Or confirming that they are in line with customer taste?

So ladies, please share in the comments! For each set, which 3 are your favorite? Which 3 are your least faves? Oh, and here’s an interesting query: how much would you expect to pay for your first choice? Given this morning’s topic I’m eager to hear what your expectations are. I’ll chime in with my choices to.

Below are some additional questions I’d love to hear your take on too. (Click the image to zoom, right click to open the image in a new browser tab.) And if you receive a survey please forward it along to me! I’ll share them with the group.

From the first set, my faves are: F, E, A.From the second set: B, D, H. My overall favorite is F from the top set and I'd expect to pay $98 for it. I would be more likely to buy it at $78 though.I prefer neutral colors and snap-closures (not cheap or painful ones though!) and LONG please. Aimee – hee. Thanks for answering!! 🙂

Oops, forgot to mention price. My favorite is C in the first set (in a different color) and I'd be willing to pay $78 for it. Would prefer to pay $58 for it, though. 🙂

LOL, is it bad that I think all of the cardigans in set 2 are sort of painful? So I am sort of fail at answering this, but I just wanted to say congrats on 1000 followers Roxy 🙂

Oops, forgot to mention the price as well! My favorites are B and F from Set 1 – a happy compromise between what I think would be charged and what I'd like to pay is probably around the $78 mark.

First set: A, D, FSecond set: I really only like B, but if I had to pick two others, I would pick A & CMy overall favorite is A from the first set, and I'd be willing to pay $78.Survey questions:• Basic colors• Snaps OR no closure• Long:)

Set 1:e, a, bSet 2:g, f, d I don't really have specific preferences for color, closures, and length. I like all different styles of cardigans I just go for what random ones appeal to me. I like everything from cropped cardigans to the longer drapey ones.

From the first set: F and D. I LOVE sweater F – seriously LOVE. I would pay $98 for it (but only if it were wool or wool blend, not acrylic!) I like neutral and basic colors (depending on the shade/hue). Rich tones are always nice for fall – plum, crimson, chocolate. I don't have a preference for closures, depends on the sweater's style.Set 2 – all yuck. Wouldn't want to wear any of them at any price. They look like yoga-wraps gone wild.

Honestly I could take or leave all of them (especially set 2- leave 'em!)except style F- I want this to be mine! But for rating purposes I choose 1. F 2. C 3. A (all in the first set). As for pricing on Style F, I'd expect Anthro to charge somewhere around $98 but in a perfect world I'd be paying closer to $68 or $78 for it! On the question set: I love basic Fall colors and they tend to look the best on me, Button closures are easily my favorite and I prefer short cardigans

OMG, Set 1, Style A? I NEED YOU IN MY LIFE! I hope Anthro releases that one – I'd pay up to $118 for it – it's so lovely! Thanks for sharing these Roxy!

I got the second survey in my email. I liked that it also had an option to put whether you liked the current colors they had shown or if you would prefer bolder or richer colors. The price and length questions were nice too!

I agree with many of you–I LOVE Style F from the first set, and I'm not impressed with anything from the second set. I tried the Buoyant Bunches Cardi and didn't like it at all. I think I figured out what it is–cardis like that and the Shadowsleeve Cardigan make me feel like Bea Arthur.Second choice from set 1 is D, C & E tie for third.I prefer basics or pop colors depending on the shade. I think "true" colors, jewel-tones or brights are most flattering with my coloring, and my favorites are red, purple, berry hues. I stay away from heathered, pastel, or muted colors and especially grey. Please Anthro–LAY OFF THE GREY!!I prefer cardigans that close, either buttons or snaps.I like almost any length of cardi except too long (like the Buoyant Bunches or the Shadowsleeve Cardigan) and asymmetrical is fine.

  17. May 13, 2010 / 7:08 pm

Price–I would grab F, set 1 if it was $88, probably wait for a sale if it was $118. I would expect to pay somewhere in that range depending on fabric content/designer. If it ended up being amazingly flattering, I would probably get in more than one color.

  18. May 13, 2010 / 10:48 pm

Wow, Set I is really my style. I LOVE that double layer look of "A" and the pretty but not over-done look of "F." I'd pay full price for both of those, provided that they were made of quality fabric that didn't immediately pill.As for color palette, I think most would agree that neutral is best for Fall. However, I love it when Anthro throws a curve ball and offers a classic style in an unexpected color like turquoise or lilac or organge.

  19. May 13, 2010 / 10:52 pm

Oh, and by "full price" I meant I would pay up to $100 for each of those sweaters, although $78 or lower would make me jump on them the minute it came out. Also, forgot to comment on length. I know I'm alone, but I pretty much loathe all cropped cardis. I do like the Blooming Lattice and that's cropped, but it's rare that I find one I feel is flattering. I like them to hit at the hip and to have buttons or a single hook-and-eye type closure. For the most part, I think Fall and Winter are too cold for open cardis to work, and I won't pay FP for a sweater that I won't feel warm in.

1st set is my fave: A, C, and F. I already own B!! Second set, not so much, but if I HAD to choose, F and G. Thanks for sharing these Roxy!!
