I have noticed a lot of community members sharing in-store deals and spots in the comments of various posts. Inspired by the weekly Seek & Find posts started by the lovely Alexis over at J.Crew Aficionada, I think now is a good time to start a similar weekly post here.
This post is for community members to trade information. You can ask for help in finding an item, report back on what you saw in-store at your local Anthro, ask general questions, make a request, or just stop by to say hello. I love how helpful this community can be!
Some FAQs….
– What does “sub” mean?
It means that people are subscribing to the comment thread. You can do this by checking the “send follow-up comments to x email address” box in the comment form.
– Someone in the comments said they wanted to buy an item from me, but it’s been x hours and I haven’t heard squat. What should I do?
I give people 24 hours for the benefit of the doubt. After that move on to the next person that contacted you.
– Someone said they returned an item at the store 20 minutes ago but I just called the store and it’s gone. What gives?!?
A store associate might have taken a fancy to it or a customer might have grabbed it. Maybe it’s just at the bottom of a big ol’pile. Unfortunately, you’re out of luck.

Heather – the Bustling Ave dress is from the August catalog on page 22, and it's only like $10!! Crazy! Find a link to the catalog on Anthropologie Addict's blog. Scroll down and it'll be on the right hand side. If you click the link and it redirects you to Anthro's homepage, just try it again and again til you get the catalog. Sometimes it won't work on the first try (for me anyway). Hope that helps!
If anyone is interested, Anthro in Corte Madera had several Radiant Necklaces (Roxy has pics of the slate grey version in her OOTD)in the Berry color last weekend-I called and ordered one yesterday. Also they had the Pessinus Garden necklace in both gold and silver versions. Not sure if these are htf or not, just know that neither is currently on the website…

@ Elizabeth 12:59 re: Peanut Butter Tote: The tote is very cute, yet simple. The leather is ridiculously soft, buttery and generously sized, but not to an overwhelming degree. It can accommodate my lunch, shoes, and usual purse contents. For reference, I am 5'7 and it hits my lower hip.

Just in case anyone is looking for it – my wishlist is showing popbacks of the On-a-Wing Blouse in sizes 2, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14!I wore mine today for the first time and got a TON of compliments on it. Such a worthwhile and unique buy :).And I FINALLY just bit the bullet and ordered the second to last Penciled Abronia skirt in a 6. I've been just missing out on things, and I didn't want to take the risk. Although based on the reviews, I don't know if I will need to size up to an 8 or not. Alissa – I was in my Anthro yesterday morning and even though CS had told me that they had the skirt in stock, they did not. Some associates helped me and could not locate the skirt anywhere in the country. Apparently, it has been shipped out by CS to the stores, but haven't received it yet (there's an SA that knows me, and she even went through that morning's shipment for me as I waited). So if anyone sees it in their store – PLEASE REPORT BACK, although I suspect most stores won't be receiving it until at least early next week!

As of this morning, the Huntsville, AL store's sale section was pretty thin. They did have the peanut butter tote and they had one of the Field of Flower garland sweaters in the light green in a size L. Oh and they had the curly trimmed cardigan in both colors in all sizes except XL.

The embroidered thicket blouse was still at the first markdown price, $70 or $80, I don't remember. I didn't know F21 didn't ship or I would've picked up the lace tops for you all! came back from the philly store and saw in the sale room: several of the light pink skirts everyone was asking about (the recalled ones, sorry cant remember the name) in smaller sizes. Sprinkling-Of-Pink Jacket in 2 and 4the pictureframe dress in 2 and i think the other one was an 8the scarf trick cardi in beige xs (was not in a very good condition though)

Elise Forever 21 DOES ship. They take forever (no pun intended) but I bought some skinny jean from them. They often have items that have long been sold out in stores. Also the return policy from buying online is better than the in store policy you can ship it back for a credit on to your credit card or take it in to a store for an exchange. It is all on the web site.
question about price adjustments: If you buy something in store/online, and later it gets marked down, but your size has sold out, can you still get a price adjustment?

I totally agree. I definitely think that, not all, but some sales associates do take advantage of it. Just recently happened to me twice! One for a pair of bootie (I checked with CS that it was in stock a minute ago) and the other one was a romper. I was really mad. Especially for booties, they hold me on the phone for almost half an hour and then told me just gone! I could tell it was a lie.
