Ladies, I hope you don’t mind but I’ve decided to forgo the sale guessing game this week in favor of announcing a contest!! It’s about time for one. Introducing the Effortless Anthropologie Scavenger Hunt.
The prize: a $250 gift card to Anthropologie
The challenge: 20 questions spread over 4 days
Here’s how it works: Beginning tomorrow and over the next 4 days, I will run a post with 5 Anthropologie-related questions. Most (if not all) of the answers can be found right here on this blog by scavenging through EA’s archives. If you can’t find the answers here a little bit of search engine digging (or looking around an Anthropologie-related site) will yield the answers. Some of the questions are easy…some not so much. Some questions will have more than one possible correct response. It’s all meant to be fun.
How to enter: Each day please email your answers to effortlesscontest@gmail.com. Comments will be disabled on the daily contest posts. If you have questions please email me or leave a comment on this post. YOU MUST BE A FOLLOWER TO ENTER. Individual submissions only please; no teams. At the end of the week everyone that’s answered all 20 questions correctly will be entered into a drawing for the gift card.
Bonuses: Think you messed up a question? No worries. You can get credit for 1 correct answer by: running a blog post linking back to this post or tweeting about the contest (please link to the tweet in the comments).
The not-so fine print: You are entering to win one (1) $250 gift card to Anthropologie. This contest is not sponsored by, endorsed by or affiliated with Anthropologie or Urban Outfitters. This contest is void where prohibited. This prize is not transferable. This prize may not be exchanged for cash. International entrants welcome! Anthropologie employee entries welcome! EA reserves final judgment on correct answers.
The question posts will run each day around 12:30 PM. Entries must be submitted on a daily basis and must be received by 11:59 PM ET.

You can also be a subscriber to this blog though Google Reader, Feedburner or a similar service. If you are logged in your name will show up on your comment, but if you comment as a guest your name will NOT show up, even if you are a follower. Did anyone else watch "How I Met Your Mother" tonight? Lily was wearing the Bold Boutonniere dress! It was the version with the white top. Oh, I'm a little worried that I'm starting to pick up on Anthro and Jcrew clothes when they appear on tv. The show Greek has also had a couple of Anthro pieces in the past.

Christina,I'm semi-new to Anthro shopping, but I assume sometimes there are Tuesdays where there isn't a sale? Roxy or somebody else may be able to elaborate. From what I've read at the blogs, apparel/accessories goes on sale one Tuesday, and then Home stuff the next. Last week was apparel … so I wonder if this means that next week will be home, to make up for today? I hope not … I want to buy more clothes while free shipping is still going on (March, Anthro members).
Unfortunately this was a week where Anthro didn't move any visibly available items to sale. The usual convention is clothes/accessories one week, home the next. There's no guarantee though that new items will be added on any given week. We just kind of assume. 😉
