Ah, it’s Monday night and you know what that means — time to guess which items will go on sale tomorrow. This week should be a home-only week… that won’t stop me from hoping for clothes anyway. Not for nothing Anthro but could we maybe see the Cirrus Bedding Collection ($48-$208) or the Bella Hothouse Bedding in Lime ($58-$268) on sale? Please? Can’t say for sure which items will and won’t make it so I thought it would be fun to take some educated guesses. I'm holding my breath for some 2nd cuts – Laced Roses Cardigan in particular. I picked it up this weekend – hadn't seen it in the sale section in ages! If, like me, you were a little sad you missed it, The Grove location in Los Angeles had several.
Kathleen – I can't see the Free Flow Tank or Beribboned Buds cardi going on sale just yet – they're brand new arrivals, especially the Free Flow Tank :-)I noticed that the Gumshoe Sweatercoat just got restocked in all colors at the stores by me, but i know they do this sometimes right before an item goes on sale (Verite Dress, anyone), so fingers crossed!
If the Night Blooming Dress goes on sale, I'd really consider it. That would justify the cost of a tailor to take in the top for me.I hope Anthro releases a new line of bedding for Spring. I have the Wisteria Duvet from 2007 that I love to pieces, and would like something similar and lovely. I love the mint green.I absolutely loved the Waterloo Quilt, but I waited too long, and it soldout quickly once it went on sale. That's probably my one regret from Anthro of 2009. Boo.
I would love the Night Blooming dress and the Vines & Buds cardigan. Of course, I just spent so much during the last sale that I really should put a moratorium on spending.BTW, I love these lists. They almost always consist of stuff I have never seen before.
I'm over the Night Blooming Dress, tbh. I saw some in my store awhile ago, and every time I went they looked more and more beat up. Fraying all over the place and just generally dirty. I think it's very likely to fall apart and won't hold up for years and years — which is a requirement for me if I'm going to spend that kind of money, even on sale. Would love to see either the Plaza or Tempting Trellis on sale, because I bought both at full price! I am banned from spending money for awhile, but if the Manisa dress gets a second cut, I might consider making an exception. =)

I purchased the Reed Shirtdress last week, so it would be so wonderful, so wonderful to have a price adjustment. And I have been hoping for the Avenues of Lace top to go on sale, but alas not yet. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Katie, as for the Night Blooming dress, I think part of the problem is that people are trying to put on a size too small and not the quality of the dress itself. When I tried on my normal size I could feel it not giving and asked for the next size up. Unfortunately I think a lot of people have a hang up on the "number" and try to force clothing to fit. RIP.But that is just my take:)
well I hope the Skyfall Dress goes on sale I liked it a lot, I'm tempted to get it full price but I will resist the urge. Btw I got the stacked smoked heels last friday, I <3 them 🙂 I'm happy I was able to snag a pair on sale.
I don't think there will be a sale tomorrow. I was in the Anthro store today around 1:30 pm and the SA were just standing around the cash registers talking. It wasn't busy…but my point was that they were not doing any markdowns.

Re: The Nights Blooming Dress…I had to take my Brand Freakin' New/Unworn/Only Touched To Go From The Bag To The Hanger In My Closet NightsBlooming Dress back to the store because it had a rip under the left armpit!Has anyone else noticed the ones for sale As Is on the sales racks having this problem? I saw several in two different store with rips in the Exact Same Spot…SO disappointed :-(I dont think I can pull the trigger even if it goes on sale overnight because I just dont trust the quality.Crying shame, that dress was SO pretty and I was looking forward to wearing it as soon as some of this Bay Area RAIN stops :-/
Stephanie — I noticed the same problem with my Night Blooming Dress. I had not worn it once, but when I was going to I noticed that there were tears on both sides under the armpits. I would not buy it even if it goes on sale.
stop casting the evil eye on falling ribbon, if we all hope together we can make it go on sale!! 🙂 🙂 i finally got my hands on the L of the tea cardigan, and while the arms and back fit well, it just would not button over my (dd/e) chest. so now i am in mourning & only half off falling ribbon will dry my tears!!
