Metapost: Administrative notes

We (well, I) interrupt your regular Anthropologie coverage to bring you a few notes…

First, I have finally gotten onboard the Facebook train for Effortless Anthropologie! I’ll be posting photos and what I’m doing up there, and the RSS feed from the blog posts there automatically. I’ll also be giving contest sneak previews there. I would love for you to be my Facebook Friend! (Hee, I feel really dorky saying that.) Be my friend here.

On the same train of thought, I’ve been on Twitter for awhile and I’m finally working to integrate Effortless Anthropologie into it more. My feed is here and I invite you to follow me. Like with Facebook I’ll be giving contest sneak previews there, tweeting about my in-store visits and posting some random stuff too (it is Twitter after all). Stop by and say hi!

Finally, after a couple of months my new blog template is finally in the can. I had to ditch the template I was hoping to move to as it was a bit too far above my skillset. Luckily I found a nice replacement that is 3 columns (yay!) but still displays fine on both my iPhone and my tiny little netbook. It will also mean more room for blogroll and better navigation tools like labels! I’m super excited about it. I’ll be switching over to the new template tonight but you can catch a sneak preview here. Feedback welcome!

Thanks to everyone for visiting and participating in the community. You all rock!

1:52 PM ETA: Also, I highly recommend that you follow Anthropologie’s official Twitter Feed and become a fan of Anthro on Facebook! Meant to include this in the original post and forgot.

Does anyone think that you can size down in the winding ruffle boots? I thought Miss Albright shoes run slightly big.

I love that photo of a heart made out of Anthropologie tags! Did you take it?

Thanks ManoloMandi and Stephanie!DEA – awesome, I can't wait to see them either. :)Anon – I find them TTS, not sure what others have experienced.Lola – yes I took that. I have wayyyy too many Anthro price tags.

What a great idea! I probably have dozens of old Anthro tags lying around (I have a habit of cutting off the price tag and the pouch containing extra buttons and throwing them all into the same drawer in my bedroom). If you find yourself needing more for creative endeavors, I can try to send them your way.

Roxy: Love your blog's new look and I'm a friend also on FB of your blog.Off topic: Managed to find a pair of summer shoes from 2010 that are no longer available(can you believe it already, talk about low stock!) that I was saving on my wish list in case they reordered. Well, I saw them pop back up and used the google/cached method to put them in my shopping cart and got them today. Lovely…..thanks to your blog and to Kim's for this trick. It does work. Now back to no Anthro shopping for a while. Boo HIss (I bought them prior to using up January and Feb's budget for Anthro) 🙁

Lola, thanks for the offer! I might just take you up on that sometime soon. Thank you Bronzi. That is crazy about the low stock, which shoes did you get? (Glad to hear the cached trick worked for you too, yay!)

Roxy: Got the For Beatrice Slingbacks by Schuler & Sons. Nice neutral color and very unique. They tie at the back.

Anon @ 6:44, I actually went up half a size in the boots, opting for a 7.5 instead of my regular 7.
