Emails: Put Yourself in His Shoes

The second email I received yesterday was about shoes for dudes with a girlie twist. The Sharply Tailored Peep-Toes ($280) featured in the email are very cool-looking but very outside my fashion comfort zone. I could maybe partner them with a tennis or polo dress.

Do the Oxford Grad Peep-Toes ($138) remind you of men’s shoes at all? Not me but I love them anyway! Ditto the Wingtip T-Straps ($128). Any of these shoes sway you?

Tri-tone spectators for sure! The sharply tailored peep-toes are so tempting though… I think when Fall comes up and more of this style is seen, everyone will feel more comfortable wearing them. Maybe? Maybe more comfortable if worn with a nice dark jean. They are just so darn cute!

Love those Wingtips, they are super cute. At first glance the Oxfords seemed awesome, but on closer inspection they're bit fussy. Maybe on the right gal they'll work. I kind of like the Tri-tones (just a little). The Sundrops look a bit too "ungulate" from that angle. To me those Oxfords look way more "Victorian house tea room" with the frilly ruffles and delicate perforations (like doilies) than guy-shoe-inspired. The idea of morphing guyswear into galswear is great, but they really stretched the idea on that one.

I agree with you with the Oxford Grad, I also love the wingtips and the scarf tied oxfords and tri-tone for sure!
