Gorgeous! Tivoli Scoopneck & Meadow Squill Top

Oh Anthropologie, you’ve done it again! Everytime I swear off buying clothes for a while you seem to come out with your best lines. Consider this my love letter: I’m drooling over too many pieces from your Spring line to count. And while short sleeves are a little while away I may have to cheat for two pieces: the Tivoli Scoopneck ($88, shown above) and the Meadow Squill Top ($98, shown below).

Here we have two takes on the same idea: neckline embellishment in a subtle palette. While much less understated, the Tivoli Scoopneck’s mix of lace and flowers is so darling. The white layer looks almost like snow. The ruching on the Meadow Squill Top’s sleeve is princess-esque while the scalloping detail at the neck looks almost like a garland or sash. I love them both equally; I couldn’t decide on a favorite.

What do you think of these pieces? Which new arrivals are your favorite?

The Meadow Squill top also caught my eye when I was flipping through the catalog yesterday- I'm really tempted to spend some of my Christmas money on it, but then I always feel like kicking myself when stuff I buy at Anthro at full price ends up on in the sales section a couple months later. Of course, knowing my luck, if I wait out on the top, it'll get sold out before then.Speaking of sales, you're going to flip for the stuff they've added; the Scrollwork blouse is now $50 and the Hybrid Perpetual necklace's $150.

I am in love with the tivoli top! I really can not afford it, but I am going to try and recreate the wreath of lace. I have a dark gray scoop neck that has gotten boring and I am going to try and make it look this pretty. I wonder if the shirt will look that cute after a wash though?
