Checking in with Club Monaco…

Time for more winter delights at Club Monaco.
Seen here: sweater | hat

While many retailers are already jumping ahead to Spring, Club Monaco seems to be one of the few brands that knows it’s still winter and has beautiful new arrivals to match. In a retail climate where many seem to be cutting corners when it comes to production and quality, Club Monaco is quietly producing beautiful items at exceptional quality.

Take the lighter, slightly brighter promise of the Truda Sweater ($180, above, runs TTS). It’s warm and snuggly for winter yet has a hint of breathability for those chilly Spring transitional days.

Someone’s nailing mid to late Winter and that someone is Club Monaco! Inside, more delights await as well as how you can get 20% off your next full price purchase there…

Simple details in beautiful fabric make the Edni Dress ($199) a work or after-work perfect pick.

All I’m looking for right now are cute new items that will also keep me warm, and Club Monaco is delivering in a major way. In dresses, the Edni Dress ($199, above) is simple yet chic and will go with everything in my closet — I love it! My closet has room for one more sweaterdress and I believe the Phillus Sweater Dress ($230) might be it, though I have to admit I’m also tempted by the trendy (and ridiculous…yet also fun) Toibe Sweater Dress ($249). For work, the Atrina Silk Dress ($249) has my eye.

There are also several sweaters I’d love to own, starting with the Truda Sweater ($180) which I’ve already tried on and love. The Barlowe Cashmere Sweater ($289) is another beauty, in lightweight cashmere with a long and lean silhouette. Pink is calling to me in the dainty and delicate Rosalind Cashmere Henley ($229), and I love the Chandisse Cashmere ($329) sweater’s slight, not overly exaggerated bell sleeves. And if you like the ruffly sleeve trend, there’s the Tyrena Cashmere Sweater ($290) in a deeply saturated navy.

Movement and color have me dreaming of the Rosalind Skirt ($180). With these shoes.

Great tops require great bottoms, like the Rosalind Skirt ($180, above) perhaps? Or maybe the Atrina Scallop Skirt ($150), paired with an amazing pair of shoes like the Meradyth Suede Pump (now $239)? And carrying the Loeffler Randall Dome Satchel ($450) perhaps?

Of course, all of this becomes more possible with a bit of help, and 20% off your full-price purchase may do just that! Right now Club Monaco is running a refer-a-friend promotion, where both you and the friend you refer can take 20% off full price orders! The code lasts for 14 days from the time your friend receives their email, and once they place their order you get 20% off too.

If you’re looking (or lucking!) for some super spectacular deals, right now Club Monaco’s Sale is chock full of them. I recently shared a whole bunch of sale picks in this post — many of which are still available plus new additions that have been made since. The sale is 50% off right now, including an extra 30% off which applies at checkout with no code required.

Quickly, here are four of my favorite sale picks: this sweater skirt; these incredible shoes; this beautiful coat or this equally beautiful one.

What Club Monaco picks are on your wish list right now?

Oh, yes please, Roxy! These are so work appropriate too. And pure merino, cashmere to boot.

I love the Truda knit pattern and hemline. I may order, but at my height it may be a bit too wide at the bottom.

I'm a little confused about the fit of the lovely Edni dress: it looks slightly a-line in the shot above, but very fitted on their website.

It is very slightly a-line. ??

I've been wanting the Yuulia Three-Strapped Heel in Rose since the holidays but they just won't budge on price. Grr lol!

Can anyone speak to their level of comfort?

They are verrrry comfortable in my opinion! Club Monaco actually puts padding in the soles which make their heels easy to wear. I don't own those but I love them in the blush.

Yay, that sounds awesome! I was a tad concerned since the heel is over 3″.

Thanks for letting me know 🙂

Love that navy cashmere sweater with the ruffle sleeves. And also love that the sweaters are 100% wool or cashmere. Really makes a difference (and justifies the price).

I totally agree. And they have so much great cashmere that's on sale right now, and with that extra 30% off…I may have to do another post for it. 🙂

OT, but how is Boden's sizing with sheath dresses? I used the fit predictor, and it said my best fit is a 2, but when I had a live chat with an agent, they suggested a 4. I'm 34B-26-36, 115 lbs.

I find Boden sizing to run a bit smaller than most Anthro brands. I'm 34a-28-36, 130lbs, 5' 6″ and usually a 4 on my lower half and a 6 on my upper half and I usually take a 6 in dresses at Boden. I have broad shoulders and size up to an 8 or a medium in jackets. I do find the fit across Boden shoulders tight relative to the rest of their sheath dresses, opposite issue to you I'm guessing ??

        Very helpful Ann, thank you!

Yes, thanks so much! Sales items are not returnable right now, so I am wary of trying anything on sale because reviews seen to be all over the place regarding sizing!
