The catalog was like mini newspaper ??I'm sure Anthro is totally out of money since they can't afford to print lovely catalogs anymore.
Better start making nice fabric and Embroidered clothes Anthro otherwise people will wait for super sale to buy anything and company will do bad again in next quarter or may be year.
Bummer about the catalogue, but if it came down to it I'd rather they used their resources to make nice clothes than nice catalogues.

🙁 I really can't get over how ugly some of Anthropologie's new arrivals are! I'm still able to find stuff to love but it's outside of the main collection. I would love to know their thoughts and inspiration behind the collection, if only to tell them NO NEVER AGAIN.
I completely agree. Not only have I no purchased in some time (got the bailey 44 shell with my 25% off – it is nice, I sized down (s) as it can be boxy), I have not even added to my wishlist. How could they included that awful paint spattered top in the lookbook? There is not a look I even like.
I can't get over it either! I'd love to know what is going on at Anthro headquarters. I know the production cycle is long but I feel like the core Anthro customer has made it known in the last 6/7/8 mos that they are sick of shapeless, sack like clothing and yet we keep getting more and more. The few things I'm interested are either insanely expensive or they made it in a bland color that doesn't work on me.
The art direction has also taken a huge nose dive. In so many of the shots you can't even tell what the clothing looks like. There is NO styling. Nothing is cohesive, colors are bland…it looks just looks like a bunch of merchandise thrown together from different vendors. I have a pile of Anthro gift cards and I'm losing hope that I'll be able to use them on clothing. Sure I could find a bag or some shoes or home goods but I would really like new clothes.

Blllllllaaah. I just want them to do well!!! To make me worried about my shopping budget because I want so much!! To make me not want to open their emails each day because I know it's gonna be GOOD. Etc.
IMO they are also going overboard on the latest trends..instead of offering 100 off-the shoulder styles/bombers/kimonos/bell sleeves…just offer 4 or 5 options, but execute them really well.
