Like the name suggests, Heartstagram is an easy way to print and frame your Instagram photos under a heart-shaped mat in a frame of your choice. But your photo doesn’t necessarily have to be on Instagram — as the image above shows you can also upload a photo from your computer.
After you’ve chosen the Instagram photo or uploaded one for your computer, it’s simply a matter of placing the heart where you’d like it to be. I have found that photos which are more horizontal (like the one above) are easier to work with than more vertical photos.
After you’ve cropped your heart perfectly, it’s time to choose a frame! You’ll even see a preview of your chosen image in the frame which I love — it’s so easy to see which frame will work best. I am a big fan of the Rosemont rose gold frame and the simple Irvine Slim white gallery frame. The finished frame is 11″ x 11″.
