Not the end of sweater weather after all…

The must-have for my closet, the Rebecca Taylor Eyelet Mock Neck Sweater ($395).

Just when I thought I was done with sweaters for this winter, Nordstrom unveiled its new arrivals and the section is filled with cute sweaters! Practically overflowing really. I’m totally dying over the Rebecca Taylor Eyelet Mock Neck Sweater ($395, above) which I think is the lace-layered sweater I’ve been looking for for years!

Swoon.

Inside, more of my favorite sweaters from the new arrivals. Prepare your closets accordingly before heading in…

I can’t decide what my favorite part of the BLANKNYC Suede Moto Jacket with Detachable Faux Fur Collar ($198, above) is. The detachable faux fur collar? The beautiful faded emerald color? The zippered cuffs? I don’t know, but I love this coat! What a great price point too for such delicious faux fur and suede. In a similar vein, the BLANKNYC Morning Suede Moto Jacket ($188) comes in such fun colors (I want the burgundy and purple haze equally…) and has great proportions.

It’s hard to be done with coat shopping when there are such cute options. And we haven’t even begun to talk about sweaters yet!

I’m all about slightly slouchy, oversized (but not boxy!!!) sweaters right now, i.e. the Gibson Convertible Neckline Cozy Fleece Tunic ($54, above) which can be worn as either a cowlneck (love the layering idea here) or off the shoulder. Extra styling ideas really help when closet space is so limited.

Another staple in my closet is the open cardigan, and Nordstrom has at least three beautiful new picks. The Bobeau Peplum Back Open Front Cardigan (now $40) is the kind of open-front waterfall cardi I love to wear over long sleeve tees or dresses. Then there is the Halogen® Long Ribbed Cardigan ($79), which goes over pretty much anything. And finally, a little bit of texture and waffle weave makes the Leith Waffle Knit Cardigan ($85) both beautiful and functional.

The little details of the Hinge Lace Inset V-Neck Sweater ($89) make it extra appealing.

Sometimes a sweater doesn’t need tons of extra details to make it worthwhile. Here are a few more new arrival favorites:
1 | In three colors, the Hinge Lace Inset V-Neck Sweater ($89, above) is cute in them all!
2 | The Treasure & Bond Raw Edge Rib Tee (now $20) is a great lightweight ‘sweater’ for west coast travel.
3 | Light cashmere is a godsend as winter wears on…I love the colors and feel of the Halogen® Crewneck Lightweight Cashmere Sweater (now $70).
4 | At $70, the Halogen® V-Neck Cashmere Sweater is a great price for light cashmere!
5 | It’s impossible not to love a teal so deep and vibrant as the Free People All Mine Sweater ($128) in ‘green.’
6 | Stripes? Yes please, Two by Vince Camuto Jersey Stripe Sweater ($109).
7 | A simple, cute v-neck like the Leith V-Neck Sweater ($65) surely deserves a spot in my closet!
8 | Whether it’s the interesting cable design or the fun pink or the cute shape, I absolutely covet the Ted Baker London Charo Cable Knit Wrap Front Sweater ($225).

A few other non-sweater new arrivals caught my eye too, including…
1 | The Topshop Block Lace Dress ($230) — very possibly my birthday dress this year.
2 | The Hinge Shirred Blouse ($69) feels like old Anthropologie, le sigh…comes in several cute patterns.
3 | The French Connection Eliza Drop Waist Dress ($138), so cute that it makes me want to play tennis right now!
4 | Much like the lobby and mezzanine lounge of my old Wall Street building, I can’t quite decide if the Topshop Moth Print Top ($60) is cool, creepy, or both. Either way I very much like the design!

What Nordstrom new arrivals are you loving right now?
