10 new things I’m loving at Anthropologie this morning…

Anthropologie welcomes June with tons of new pretties,
like the latest colorway of the Gathered Stripes Midi Dress ($158).

Hubba hubba. A new month begins today (welcome, June!) and Anthropologie is celebrating with so much lovely new stuff. I came home from my Memorial Day Weekend trip to New Hampshire and have already found at least 10 new items for my wishlist. Items like the newest colorway of the Gathered Stripes Midi Dress ($158, above), which I own in the currently sold out red motif version and wore to Mexico way back in February but now need this color too have me very excited for my next store trip…

Summer will be a breeze in dresses like the Embroidered Medallion Maxi Dress ($268).

As always, Anthropologie’s dress selection is full of beauties like the Embroidered Medallion Maxi Dress ($268, above). I’m happy to see so many knee-length options even as summer approaches, so much so that I don’t mind the shorter items like the Prairie Rose Dress ($168). There also seems to be a very nice variety of fit-and-flares which I require of Anthro, drop-waist dresses, off-the-shoulder dresses and maxi dresses. Well done Anthro!

I’m also seeing some work pieces, though this area could still use some more options. Items like the Strata Sheath ($158), Cecily Lace Dress ($158) and Lane Tie-Neck Blouse ($58) could easily merge into my work wardrobe effortlessly. But I would love to see even more here.

On the casual side, I’m loving all the bright happy colors and versatile patterns especially among tops such as the ruffled Fluttered Ina Top ($58), the off-shoulder Jacaranda Top ($98) and the delicate Moonflower Halter Top ($98). Even the Sunglow Crops ($68) have a summery pattern to them!

This necklace goes with pretty much everything.

Anthropologie’s accessories are so wonderful to me right now! For awhile there it seemed like every piece was oversized or bulky but recently they’ve returned to a good mix of delicate pieces, embellished pieces and a few of those really big statement pieces. One necklace I’m absolutely loving right now is the Garten Bib Necklace ($58, above) which I purchased in ivory. It goes with nearly everything I’ve tried pairing it with, from a combination of the black & white Striped Racerback ($48) and moss green Tombolo Vest ($138) to the Dayflower Dress ($148) to the Islander Top ($78) to the Split-Neck Swing Tank ($118). I like the necklace so much I’m very likely going to buy the yellow version too!

One other accessory item I adore is the Tamboril Tassel Earrings ($54, on me). Not only are these all over the website right now, I’ve found them to be another piece that work surprisingly well with nearly every outfit I try them with, from work looks to casual to date outfits. Need evidence? You can see them on the product shots of the Embroidered Medallion Maxi Dress ($268), Strata Sheath ($158), Lane Tie-Neck Blouse ($58), Fluttered Ina Top ($58) — just to name a few.

Both of these pieces are items suggested to me during a personal styling appointment and while I would not have reached for either on my own, I’m so glad they were pulled and suggested to me!

With Free Shipping no minimum in effect right now, are you going to place an order for new Anthro pretties? My cart’s loaded up and I’m seriously tempted….
