Following up from their press release on Monday, this month’s anthro: in our own words newsletter is the bees’ knees. Besides the Edun tees, Anthro’s store windows will be done up to celebrate all things bee. They’re also making a donation to the Department of Entomology at Penn State University though the newsletter doesn’t say whether that’s from the tees or what.
Anthropologie is also selling a tulip or apple tree-to-be kit online ($24) and in stores. The purchase supports the Fruit Tree Planning Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to planting edible trees and shrubs in needy communities and improving the surrounding air, soil and water. I’m feeling pleasantly earthy crunchy already.
